other people have already asked but i dont see an answer---you leave the paper (that you used to help make the forms)inside and it burns away in bisque fire??

Thank you! I'm a biologist and animal sculptor from Germany, and I'm always in awe whenever I see any of your sculptures. Nick, your work is mind boggling, far beyond excellent, it's just world class art - how can I express my appreciation for this outstanding work? I will always be in awe.

Your work is exquisite! Do you apply stains or slips with a clear raku glaze over on the areas with color or does the glaze have the colorant in it? Also, are all the dark areas (minus the eyes--clear glaze over black something?) simply created by the reduction process during the sawdust pit part?

Nick,my names lee. Just come across your video,I’m just getting into sculpture, and your work is absolutely fantastic,so the chance to speak to a professional artist will be invaluable to me. If you have any advice on some of the best self curing clay’s that would be great,I know you use a kiln to set your art,but unfortunately I would get shouted at by my wife lol,I do a lot of drawing and carving with wood, and I have always been drawn to sculpting, little bit late in life at 52,but I’ve come to a point in my life to express my creativity. Hope I haven’t gone on to much ,but any advice you can give would be great, thank you.

Really beautiful work! I thank you very much for sharing it. I am very interested in the clay mixture you use, but the link takes me to "how to make a sculpture" instead of "how to prepare the clay-paper mixture". I would greatly appreciate if you share it. I am a ceramic student from Costa Rica in Central America.

Hi Nick, thank you very much for this video. I use paperclay but preprepared. Could you possibly do a video on your clay prep. I'd like to make my own paperclay. Thank you.
