So good to see these clips. Thx. I'm a Brit from those days too. Did a fair bit of skiing myself, but the like of Andy & Mike H were just outstanding. Such good memories.

I saw him at Thorpe Park in the world championshis back in the 80's, along with other greats such as Mike Hazelwood. Those were the days when Water Skiing was often shown on the TV. Sad that Andy is no longer with us.

Nothing more aggravating than a commentator that doesn’t know the tricks and a crappy boat driver. Awesome riding.

Nice replay of the 2008 finals. Great to see two of the best waterski jumpers ever, skiing on the Yarra River.

I wish it didn't cut off when it did. Sammy still had 2 jumps and Carl, Hazelwood and Thurlow were still on the dock. It must have been epic.

Manon Costard is the best. Going down current is hard. Going down wind is hard. Just watching her beat both hardships by fighting all the way was amazing. All that line slack after #6 shows how fast she had to go to make it. She really is the best in the world.

"Spinning is gay, looks gay, looks busy, fans are confused. Only allow 1 spin". What a Dumbass comment to make. Easy to criticize while sitting on your couch stuffing your face with Dorito's, eh. Very cool vid. Wish I could do these. Have a friend who's knee's are wrecked from wakeboarding, in his 30's!. Its a tough sport. He now wakeboards wearing knee braces.

That's a generous quarter buoy. Love ya, Pickle Man, but you released the handle before the ball on that one. Great skiing no less.

This is amazing!!! I am soo passionate about water skiing. When I was younger I would not stop skiing. I skiied more then my brother and my sister. It's the only thing that takes my mind away from the whole world!!! Even though I'm older I will still 🎿 ... All that I'm going through in my life I just can't wait to get back to it. Being stalked and having a husband that doesn't care. Having my identity stolen it's the hardest thing to go through! I don't know who to trust or who the hell is stalking my information but someone is. My dad and I were so close and he was there to watch everything I did! Now with my husband I can barely talk to him! It hurts my heart. But, hopefully it gets better with my husband and he will understand me! I am slowly getting back to myself and it's hard without my husband's support. But, I'm still hoping he will get it together. This also bring passion to become an events coordinator. But, will my identity being stolen and people stalking my information it is hard for me to become and accomplish anything! I aced my class of business communications and process papers with me organizing company skii resorts and conferences for employees !!! I'm happy where I came from and I will protect my city from really mean people !!! I'm just still working toward getting back to my FULL SELF!!!

Hmmm... even more interesting looking at Nates 2 ball 10.25m on the replay. At 5:22 on the video... So maybe Thomas and Nate still tied... but... Maybe Joel Howley deserves more kudos than he got...
@tjones995 жыл бұрын
Interesting looking at Thomas ball two at 10.25m that tied him with Nate and eventually gave him the win... At 2:58 into the video. Much clearer at .25 speed.
