Hi congrats I'm from Greece 68 y.old and no near with new technology also don't understud good English Hi out of ignorance my 14 year old daughter probably put the 24 sentence into scammer I am still at step 8 Kyc has not turned green as well as step 9 I have locked my pi out of fear for 3 years If I go to step 3 as you say in video on you tube and I make a new wallet I will also get a new 24 phrase and then in step 6 ....When the transfer is complete and it is locked can I transfer the pi to the new wallet or not OR they are not transferred because they are locked How can I transfer them protect Please help I am pioneer since 2020

Pi that haven't yet been transferred will be transferred to the new wallet once you update both steps in the mainnet checklist. Pi that are already in your current wallet and are locked will stay there; you will have to transfer them to your new wallet once they unlock manually.

Hard to say, even if a bot is used, it might just check once per day for new Pi to move instead of grabbing them instantly. I wish you good luck.

Pi that haven't yet been transferred will be transferred to the new wallet once you update both steps in the mainnet checklist. Pi that are already in your current wallet and are locked will stay there; you will have to transfer them to your new wallet once they unlock manually if you still have access to that wallet. If you don't have access anymore, then any Pi already in that wallet are lost.

As you keep "mining," the balance increases as well. It just might not be 100% in sync with the number on the main screen, but that's nothing to worry about.

But when I checked the mainnet list “step 7” it said summit your kyc application and there was a start button. So now do I wait for my timer to start countdown before starting my kyc or I should go ahead with kyc verification

That's not a problem. That's the lockup you picked being enforced. You just have to wait for the lockup period to end, and while you are doing that, check out kzfaq.info/get/bejne/erFdqKtl3bSyj40.html& to make sure coins from future migrations aren't locked up if you don't want them to be.

No. First, the mainnet checklist does not show the passphrase, only the wallet address. Second, that would mean that you didn't share your passphrase with someone but that they know your Pi app username and password, which you should then change in your Profile within the Pi app.

Christian, is there any way to unlock coins that are currently locked? My app re-ticks the box for automatic locking, and I didn't notice until today that it locked all my coins for a year. I wanted to take half out in the first few days, just to be safe, but this app messed up my plans. I might lose everything!

The ID has to match the name in the profile. If your dad's name is the profile, it is his account, and he has to complete KYC.

I believe that this person is saying that they have their dads last name on her account but her ID has her husband last name. So it does not match with her account.

That makes more sense. In that case, just submit the KYC application, which will then eventually fail, and then file an appeal that should allow you to clarify the name change.

Create a new wallet (once that works again), then go to the mainnet checklist, press on step 3, and follow the instructions. Then, repeat the same with step 8.

In the Wallet at the top, switch from "Pi Testnet" to "Pi Mainnet." No, trying to sell or buy Pi can get your entire account locked. Instead, use your coins to buy things, as shown in kzfaq.info/get/bejne/n7uSpLuZqbSRk5c.html&

Nobody can answer that. It depends on when the Pi core team runs the logic to verify earnings from referrals and security circles and when they then run the next migration after that. Could be today, could be in six months,...

Probably, but the best way to back it up is to write it down somewhere safe, and the second best, IMHO, is to store it in a password manager like 1Password.

If you already have coins (locked up) in your old wallet, they will also unlock in that old wallet, and you then have to transfer them to your new wallet once that happens.

Check your "mainnet checklist." If the last step isn't green, coins haven't been transferred yet. If it is green, it will also tell you the wallet address to which coins were migrated.
