Hi, after 3. c3 we have a transposition to the Alapin (1. e4 c5 2. c3 d6 3. d4). Your suggestion of cxd4 is not very convincing, because White can now play Sc3. Normal is 3....Sf6 4. Bd3. However, White is better according to theory. Any thoughts?

Hi, after 2. c4 c5 3. Sf3 cxd4 4. Nxd4 Nc6 5. Nc3 g6 6. e4 we have a transposition to an accelerated Dragon Maroczy bind. Any suggestions to avoid it?

Yes there is Bxh7 and capture the rook on d8
@kaspachessofficial22 сағат бұрын
I guess you are talking about this part at 13:32. Nop. After you play Rd8, pin, if White plays Bxh7+ you can just take back with the King, and after Qxd8 you take White's rook on a1 (Qxa1). See that the Eval bar is still in Black's favor even after playing Rd8.

If you pin the light bishop he will sacrifice it with check and rook will be taken by queen

Why do you keep referring to turning the bishop into a bigger pawn? I don’t think that will sell the system very well as normally that idea has negative connotations
@kaspachessofficial6 күн бұрын
Not really true. If you watched part 1 of this video, you will recall that I did mention to say we are cool to trade off our light-squared bishop in exchange for rapid development, piece activity, and gaining some interesting initiative. It's not every opening where you need a Bishop pair. E.g., the French defense and the Trompowsky.

Are you a Grandmaster Kaspa?
@frankcipriani18826 күн бұрын
Your impudent question is revealing a non gratitude nature. I would estimate his OTB, classical time control, rating at STRONG EXPERT. Grandmasters value their time and are often poor teachers of chess. Mr. Kaspa has fluent English language ability and tremendous creativity with the uncommon generosity to share his studies with others who may be retired from active chess, but still enjoy the Royal Game and speculate on implementation of his ideas. ❤
@user-zz5sh9zm3y6 күн бұрын
@@frankcipriani1882 steady on Frank. It’s a very dangerous practice to read too much into a simple question. How dare you read into a simple question and interpret it in a way that suits your narrative. There’s nothing sinister in that question. Who do you think you are to reply in such a manner. Extremely disturbing. Mind your own business and I’ll await a reply from the person the question was put to. Now get off your high horse Frank and go and learn a thing or two about how to conduct yourself. Sounds like you are putting him on a pedestal
@user-zz5sh9zm3y6 күн бұрын
Frank is a qualified member of the woke community as apparently we are not allowed to ask such a straightforward question as Are you a grandmaster? Utterly despicable response
