VERY VERY FUNNY and creative. In case you forgot, creativity is that thing people have when they're not afraid to speak freely. We need more of that, and fewer morons self-censoring. Happy Chanukah putos! (putos is very offensive fyi)

Lighten up Scott. Don't be so serious. It's satirical and humorous. It clearly is not meant to be offensive in a negative way by any means. It's ok to make fun of the many stereotypes put out there by exaggerating them to the point that people realize just how silly they really are. These guys are great with their "hanukkah in the hood" skit. Putting aside a fight in the ally, the stereotypes, and differences.Finding a commonality, and coming together to celebrate a time honored tradition. Mixing old with new cultural diversity. How can one be offended by that? While Hanukkah is a serious occasion, it is filled with love, light, and laughter. Great food, songs and games. I truly wish you a time of joy, and a latke laughter this hanukkah season!

To see his name engraved in a plaque is so sad because after many years we are trying so hard to never forget this beacon of light that literally lit up ToTo. He was so much a part of ToTo as his brother who also became a part of ToTo before he passed on. Jeff and his younger brother, Mike, are so irreplaceable.

Leland, this is wonderful. I spend hours listening to you, Bill Schnee and many other sharing your love and experiences of Jeff. He was and is such an inspiration to musicians all over the world and it is humbling listening to you, his ‘brothers’, speak of him so fondly. During an educational course I attended (not music related) we were asked if we had one wish what would it be. Many came back with classical answers, money, fame, love and of course, world peace. I said, to have met and talked to Jeff Porcaro - blank expressions all around. Following this we had to give a presentation on our chosen subject. A week after this my peers, none of whom were musicians, spent the first 10 minutes of class discussing Jeff Porcaro, his extensive discography and even how he had played on most of their favourite songs or playlists. Still touching lives!!!!

Leland, what did you and Michael B. play together on? He, along with Phil, are my top 2 influences as a drummer. I know Michael well from my years in Minneapolis and was his 1st call sub for the funk band he was in when he went out with Prince. He's an incredible musician, and a wonderful soul.

I just stumbled apon great to hear about all the stories of Jeff Pacaro. He played with such great timing you could tell within a couple bars who it was. What a family, what an individual what a musician.A true american story and what a loss.A terrible loss starting a family and he was gone.He will surely missed but not forgotten.RIP JEFF PACARO.

Leland you really inspire me when I see and hear your subtle playing styles. I know you guys hear this all the time but ...Not cramming notes when 1 note works..then we listen to Victor and Stanley wow. I am a huge Toto fan and Steve L fan!!!. Your 5 string playing was just so melodic and powerful your long hair and white beard what a stage presence Ha....Certainly one of the best bass players I ever heard. Love your channel and stories, your a real person arnt you.........thnx for the years....

In discussions with other musicians, the subject of “best” & “ most influential” will often come up and the usual heroes pop up, like Hendrix, Clapton, Bonham, Emerson, and I’m always taken aback when my mentioning Porcaro, Lukather and Paich is met with hyms and haws. Of course, once I proceed to list off the discographies and influence that these giants have had in our collective musical upbringings, the tone tends to turn from argumentative, to educational. There isn’t a musician alive who won’t claim to be a Steely Dan fan, even if they’ve never heard them! It’s just kind of a “required for entry” thing. But many don’t know how many tracks the skinny young kid from the valley are on. Same goes for Boz Skaggs and many others. The valley boys are truly an under appreciated group of cats that we hear, love and emulate, DAILY! So, thanks for getting the info out there for the people to hear. The more people who know the facts, the better the music will get. Also, thanks for all of your contributions to our musical upbringings as well, Mr. Sklar.
