I don't understand why people say this. I don't think it's trying to paint Price in a bright light, it's just saying that they do their job so regular people can live normally and without worries.

@@Fusible_1 "we get dirty so the world stays clean" is a justification of their actions and implicitly does try to paint price in a 'bright light' as you say. It's so obvious and plainly spelled out in the video that I don't see how me repeating it to you is going to make you see it, but please do prove me wrong. "Getting dirty" in a real world context is, of course, drone bombing innocent civilians, conducting no knock raids and invading countries that don't want you there to 'protect' their people while stealing their natural resources. I didn't want to bother trying to explain this to you because frankly I don't see how you could ever interpret this as anything BUT propaganda.

Captain Price gave homie a quick reality check. *Edit* This scene, and a few others, shows Call of Duty can be turned into a movie, or TV show. And it doesn't have to be the the same story line. If they do, they need to give all the characters proper intros.

For me, it's "If you're having second thoughts, I can do this on my own." Seeing the Captain have so much faith and confidence in himself that he's willing to do it all by himself makes me believe I can do everything by myself as well.

What makes this scene is not only Gaz being the canary, but the fact that Price understands that the mission is not for everyone, so if gaz were to step down, there wouldn't be any hard feelings. But Gaz doesn't and doesn't really questions Price on his morals again.

Reboot Price is too damn funny, but also wise beyond reason. He’s walking that fine line between breaking the rules and graying the morality, but he has a point in everything he does. “When you take the gloves off, you get blood on your hands.” Not something the majority are willing to do for the fear of punishment that could follow breaking laws. Morality and by the book operators would probably get them killed.
