That's very quiet for Monaco in terms of traffic and people. We visited last week and it was extremely busy. Plus there's currently a diversion in place near the entrance to the tunnel due to construction work meaning you can't walk or drive it the usual way.

I shot the video during the covid lockdown in 2021, it's the only time in 10 years I was able to drive on the racetrack at the speed limit almost 100%

many thanks, that was super helpful. I plan to do the same this summer 2024. It's still possible to do all the circuit? We did more or less half the circuit with some friends back in 2001, from the Casino to the harbour. And was wonderful, a dream checked.

Yes it's still possible. But the swimming pool sector can be closed during the evenings and/or holidays/weekend.

That was about as interesting as watching the race. Well done on the footage though, it was good to see what it is really like when not a race track. Unfortunately, the cars have well and truly outgrown this racetrack and so they should move on to something much bigger and better.

LOL they havent figured out to make the middle line yellow in Europe yet? How do you tell if you are on a one way road? What do you do when you go somewhere new? Do you just drive down streets hoping someone doesnt come at you?

Road signs tell you. We use yellow lines during roadworks to overrule the white ones temporarily, by the way

@@cristian9365 aaah thx, in hindsight it’s now pretty obvious, because the race isn’t really allowing overtaking on Monaco the race is actually already „done“ by the qualifying and the resulting positions as you mentioned 🙂 I thought too complicated

I was here for the race this year. No joke, they were faster during the installation lap than the actual race 😬
