If you listened to the piece there should be no doubt that the vocal and piano are mixed correctly. The piano is supporting the vocal in this mix. The placement of the mic works because we are using a good large diaphragm condenser with an excellent noise floor. Recording in a live setting is much different that a studio space - I hope this helps!

No question that elements of this song inspired the "Baretta" theme song, "Keep Your Eye on the Sparrow" sung by Sammy Davis Jr.

Heard this beautiful arrangement many years ago and have been wanting to find out details so I can get the music … Maybe the composer/arranger is Mark Hayes? Thank you!

Very nice arrangement of a popular hymn. Choiresters and organist/director's talents exemplify Lenten season. Thank you for your ministry of music.

Why on earth would you say that? We’re all on a journey. There shouldn’t be a perceived hierarchy amongst musicians.

An ELCA church in our area is about to close because people have left it. The interim pastor told us that the LGBTQIA+ Agenda is what is killing the church.

I got the chance to play the big pipe organ in my church and I remembered how you played and was able to do the same things like you by using all the manuals and trying out many sounds from soft to loud. I will have to get to know the foot pedals better but that will come in time. When I started playing I remembered you and things went off just great. Thank you very much Karen for your great concert that helped me get off to a great start when I got to play a big pipe organ for the first time. You are a great teacher Karen and hearing you play is something I really enjoy as you know how to bring out the best in a pipe organ.
