If you remember the jeeps on the side of the trail, mine was the one with the fire extinguisher. We were repairing the one tire on the black jeep and putting the spare on the front. Awesome video. Thank you for sharing .

A Liberty can do Green trails stock im 4 low. With a RC basic lift and 31's min they can do blue trails. Son has a KK and does them with little issues.

Allthough Blue Flame is closed, up the road new Turnaround restaurant pretty good, then down in West Elizabeth, West E. Diner pretty good, in an old school house.

I heard that there are new owners that plan on changing the name and menu. I hope it works out for them, but the Flame is iconic, especially the neon sign.

@@JeepsAndEats I heard the WEst E diner owners are interested.The family that had the Blue Flame had things going on, 7 Springs Golf Course on 51, Yorkshire Inn that burned down, Built back up near Kmart, then Georgetown Center. They had A Golf club course near Miami which I was at, even went to Steelers game down there. Forgot the Practice T next to Blue Flame.

In 1927, Jim moved the business to a house on Walnut Street. Half of the first floor was converted into Jim's Restaurant. The entire family worked in the store. In 1948, Jim moved the family into a new two-story building, with living quarters behind and above a grocery store at 2600 Skyline Drive in West Mifflin, PA. They have been making hot dogs with their famous sauce ever since. My great uncle told me about taking dates there after roller skating! Post showing the food tomorrow!

You should have visited the McKeesport Heritage Center in Renzie and looked at all the Helen Richey information there. She has also been presented several times on the Living History Tour at the cemetery.

I want to visit the heritage center soon. I would have for the video but my channel is basically me driving on a weird, steep, or bumpy road in Pittsburgh. Then going somewhere nearby to eat. I wanted to show the brick roads there and it kind of turned into a history lesson looking for her grave. I have friends and relatives in the back right corner of the cemetery and never seen those other sections before. It was cool to see all the big names of people back in the golden age of the city. I’d love to go back 50-100 years ago for a day!

@@JeepsAndEats the online cemetery directory is pretty good. Come the week Saturday before Memorial Day -I think it will be the 19th this year - when the volunteers with by flagging the graves. When you are at the Heritage Center ask about the info from the previous cemetery tours which featured prominent local citizens. Then wander next door to the Rose Garden ❤️

One thing I don't miss is all that parallel parking. I hated it and I was not good at it. As for food, I always eat a little of this, then a little of that, until it's gone. I jump around my plate.
