I thought for sure Eomer was given a shield in this Rohan shieldwall scenario. Feel like that’s an oversight by the writers.

While's biggest mistake was making the break through with Imrahil allowing him to be isolated.

Fun game. Offcourse there is a big advantage for the riders in this scenario, but it is payback for all those scenarios earlier in the campaign where the evil forces has, Whiles favourit, relentness hordes. And true to the lore, here the tide of battle for Middlearth ia about to turn.

So next up spear shall be shaken, shield be splintered, a sword-day, a red day, ere the sun rises! Hopefully the dice Gods will be with the men of Rohan

Given the importance of Gandalf in these storylines and the inability of tin cans to kill, I’d like to experiment with a +1 to fight value or banner re-roll special rule for Gandalf. Maybe start at a 3” bubble and see if that gives more of a fighting chance

I might be mistaken, but I thought Gandalf could not leave the one half of the board until Pippin catches him. That would make a much more difficult game for the Good side.

What amazed me most in this game was the effort You have put into the terrain features for this scenario. Jokes aside, fun scenario.

Well it seems that Loki is no longer influencing While's Dice at least for this week. Incidentally a lot of camera stutter in this one.

Very quick and fun one. I like, that there's also some fast 30 minute episodes, besides the 1-2 hour long ones. Not much else to say here

Once again showing how rough Courage checks are. So many orks just ran away this episode, lol. Generally maybe not the most interesting one to watch so far, due to it just turning into the good guys scratching Sauron's Armour while he also couldn't manage to kill as much as he should've. Though the ending was very nice, with everyone who died dying and Elrond landing the final blow.

Great progress. Looking forward to April's. You mentioned restarting with the Last Alliance scenarios, how many scenarios are there left to release now?

Finally finished this Episode. Took me a while, being busy with stuff and having to pause. So far, I love the post-battle breakdowns as well as the very clear playing. Makes me start understanding the game, at least in a general sense, without having read the rules or anything. Also, very thematic and according to history, so far xd

Finally got around starting to watch this project. already watched the 3 previous videos today and I am looking forward to watching a LOT more. Gotta catch up, after all

Well While did kill the trolls but those waves of orcs are hard to deal with when you only have tin cans to hold the line with! Great scenario. Really enjoying these recent supplement scenarios.

Was there ever a hypothetical scenario where gondor was pushed right back to the white tree? I have a bunch of mimas tirith to build, got the osgiliath ruins with the boxset but have always wanted a fountain court theme's board

Fun game. And You build an excellent representation of the tower. But I think it is really time to close the campaign. While has clearly been affect by the ring's malice. Some scenarioes ago he shrugged of getting Faramir killed, and what he did to poor old Same in this one, alas and woe.

Rulebook tabs are great! I've got them for the Blood Bowl book and they are perfect. I'm guessing the MESBG will be just as useful.

I’ve played this one before and I’m not wild on it. It’s very swingy and like this game seems to be very short and not very reflective of the book/film. Some of the scenario rules are good, but I agree that the auto wound with Sting mixed with Shelob not being able to spend will can make this a bit one sided to the good player. They can just might their way to a win and wait for Shelob to fail the courage check. Maybe throwing Gollum in would have altered it but maybe that would have swung it too far towards the evil player… I personally would change the objective of the scenario to the ring bearer (be it Frodo or Sam) leaving the Eastern board edge. Instead of auto wounding, Sting has Spiders-bane (which I think it should have anyway…) which makes it harder to score a wound but can cause more damage and force more courage checks out of Shelob. Lastly instead of fleeing entirely when wounded, Shelob is redeployed to either the North on South board edge and re-enters the following evil move like a reinforcement. It would give the good player some breathing space to continue moving off. But her movement means she would be pouncing on them within a turn or two, which would be a better reflection of a giant predator hunting them. Gollum could be used by the evil player to hold them in place. Still, nice report, look forward to the next one.
