The Law of Temperance "The law of temperance must control the life of every Christian. God is to be in all our thoughts; His glory must always be kept in view. We must break away from every influence that would captivate our thoughts and lead us away from God. We are under sacred obligations to God, so we must govern our bodies and rule our appetites and passions so that they will not lead us away from purity and holiness or take our minds from the work God requires us to do." EGW. Dre, your stepdad is a Godly man. He has a sweet, mature, Godly influence over you. God bless your marriage

I like to know what I'm getting into and committing myself to. It's true anything can go left at anytime but you can definitively sidestep a lot of future grief with THOROUGH vetting... Life is easier the less compromising you have to make.....

1:02:26 when Tim -asks his wife “what do you think”. I find this beautifully ironic because in the beginning of their relationship he felt she was so opinionated to now asking for her opinion ! Love this

I… know how she feels when she says that her husband is like a representation of Jesus! I feel the same way about my husband. I tell him all the time that I love him and I’m so grateful and blessed to have him in my life.

The thing I liked about this guy is he stated he was happy in his previous relationship that’s why he didn’t start one thing before finishing the other. This says a lot about his character. Good show.

This man is preaching! Dr. Delatorro said something that im going to implement in healing journey is make a list of affirmations of what you want in a husband. 😮💨😮💨😮💨 not what you don’t want. My whole thought process has been transformed by watching this episode. What else I got from this is that we have to be intentional with our preparation when we pray for things from God that we desire and when we do get that gift of marriage. We must heal with integrity and essential to communicate with each other and not ghost.

She is a whole vibe! I really enjoyed this interview. PS, One thing that struck me when you were describing what you were offering her as a friends with benefits friend, it felt like prostitution. I know that wasn’t your intention but that’s how I felt when I heard you recap it to her. If someone I considered a friend offered me a FWB situation the way you offered it to her, I would’ve rejected it too. Funny thing is, if you had just offered her the FWB without the financials, you would’ve have been having a much different conversation with her.

“All the things I was working on were all the things He was looking for”. Reminds me of the servant looking for Isaac’s wife at the well. I pray as women we truly grasp the best version of ourselves should be who we strive to be because she is beautiful. Then understand she is valuable in the eyes of a healed man.

This podcast is so profound. I can only have self nourishment in traffic. So I often choose this podcast, my gospel, comedy, or clean music that doesn't have me wondering what was said. I may be describing my age by sharing that, but nevertheless, it is a true statement. All Smiles. But this message was fruitful to the spirit as all of them are. It appears I may be late to the circle of knowledge in relationships, I have a lot to review during my personal knowledge self care time. But his link is no longer working.🎉
