Hello I have Honeywell humidifier. Outside is around 5 C and I set it up to max humidity but my home has still dry air. (35%) Filter is new and it seems work very well. I don't understand why it does not work or it is normal.

I have a question .. my furnace looks very similar to this however on the left side (presumably the intake) I do not have a PVC pipe there going anywhere on either unit. It's just open. I had a roofing company break my pvc outtake pipe on my furnance when they were replacing my decking and I'm probably going to just repair it myself .. but I started looking at videos and noticed your had two pipes.

I have the same unit but my relative humidity is always 25%, it doesn't matter if I adjust the dial to max or minimum I still get 25% can somebody explain why that would be.
