I will always complain about those little stupid arrows, put big arrows, it is so right. Who understands the NPS anyhow? no logic no matter how they try, and the thing about being quiet, just dumb, what if I am lost I should stay quiet?? next time I will bring my mega boombox baby!!! Let's see if we have a party in Fiery Furnace, mark my words!

I appreciate this review as I am looking for some short hikes into slot canyons with my dogs... Question, I noticed you doing some rock scrambling over a small boulder. Is that at the entry, or is that farther in? Trying to figure out what dog lifting I will have to do! Thanks,
@2utahhikers4 ай бұрын
That Boulder is in a side slot to explore, not the main trail. Your dogs will make the main trail just fine.

Hey you two. Thanks for sharing this trail. I love the hike. Lots of interesting water ways and rock formations. The slot canyon itself is spectacular. I love waterfalls. I read in your description that it requires a permit. That’s good to know. I just stumbled across your channel while searching for interesting hikes. I do lots of hiking and posting on KZfaq myself. I looked through your channel, and it looks like you post lots of amazing hikes and adventures. Right up my alley. I just followed your channel! It looks like I’m your 662nd subscriber! Woohoo!!! I look forward to staying connected.

Love your videos. Planning a trip soon. It would be nice not to have music with lyrics over your voices. It’s very distracting and difficult to hear you. How about no music over your voices.

What shoes do you recommend?
@2utahhikers5 ай бұрын
We are both wearing the Approach LA Sportiva shoes. They are light weight, breathable mesh that water can drain through and have a rugged tread on the bottom for a good grip. We are also wearing neoprene socks and pants.

For people like me that live in the overbuilt suburbs, your neighborhood is pretty close to a epic location for landscapes. Very nice photos. With that said, I can find a couple of spots here there but, not as many choices as you have. Nice vid.

We’re going to the area in May. Are there trailheads marked for places like this?
@2utahhikers6 ай бұрын
There is not a sign marking the trailhead here. Its 28 miles south of Hanksville. Google Maps can help you. There is signage for Little Wild Horse Canyon which is near Goblin Valley, also in the area.

Well done. I went there a lot inthe mid 80's with my new dogs. They hsd a blast, we spent the night several times. I so miss those dogs. Do this hike before May 5, it gets Tarzan hot back there and the sand will burn your dogs feet.
