@TropicalZooms7 күн бұрын
@@SteveAMcPherson Hi Steve. My wife actually booked almost all of our accommodation before we left. We were a little concerned that we’d turn up in a town and not be able to find a vacancy. 90% booked on booking.com and the remaining 10% from direct email. We saw other hikers get turned away and have to walk up to 5km off the main track to get a bed. For me, after walking 5,6 or 7 hours in a day I was relieved to know there was a bed waiting for me. We didn’t go with any group tour, booked it all on our own and saved a fortune. 😃👍

Hi. Just commencing our research into an ideal MH for just wifey and I. A few Qs: Is this MH a rear wheel or front wheel drive? Does Jayco have a consise option list available at the very start of order process? After a full tank of fuel and full tank of drinking water and grey water, how many kegs remains for available legal capacity? How does this model handle steep hills and windy mountenous tops? Cameron
@TropicalZooms11 күн бұрын
@@Camh1968 Hi Cameron The RM20.5 is front wheel drive. My 21 model has a 100 litre water tank and a 50 litre grey water tank which is 150 litres and 150 kgs when full. From memory the total load is around 900 kgs but I’ll check that and get back to you. Yes there is a general list of inclusions but you can select extras which include tow bar, nudge bar, lithium batteries, extra solar panels, diesel heaters and 12 volt fans amongst others. I find that the 2.3 litre diesel climbs quite well up hills. I’ve found myself overtaking most cars towing vans when hill climbing. I haven’t done a lot of tight tight windy hills but the small amount that I have fond I’ve not felt the engine inadequate. Overall I’ve got no regrets & really love this size Motorhome as it’s big enough to live in yet small enough to park at beaches, harbours and in the street when day tripping.

Thanks Al. Yeh, I still love my little GoPro 8. I’m the other way. Use my GoPro a lot and rusty with the drone. I was actually surprised with how much footage I could get on the 256GB mini SD card. At 1080P it gave me up to 10 hours video time. I finished the hike with 3 hours of video footage that I think I’ll condense down to around 90 minutes over about 5 parts. My problem is that I struggle with space on the hard drive to upload. Once I get to about 25 minutes worth of video I get the “disk space full” messages which is why I went down to 30FPS. Thanks so much for watching and for the kind messages of support. Really appreciated 😃👍
@skywalkerallan1877Ай бұрын
@@TropicalZooms yes i see your point with storage capacity probs, 60fps is what i use on all my Drones for smoothness on turns but then its only 25 to 30 mins worth on average per battery.
@TropicalZoomsАй бұрын
@@skywalkerallan1877 Yes. You convinced me to do the same & I now run all my movies on 1080P 60FPS with the exception of these Camino vids to try & save some space that I didn’t end up needing anyway by splitting the hike into several parts. I also think that 4K seems like overkill too. When I see 1080P 60FPS on my big screen it seems like a great clear pic and I don’t really think I’d notice much difference if any at 4K which also takes up more room and seems a lot slower to upload. I do however think I see the difference with 40fps as some times I think my vid seems a little flickery with some faster movies scenes. Thanks for your advice & tips mate. Always appreciate them 😃👍.
@skywalkerallan1877Ай бұрын
Yes I believe 4k is such an overkill with 1080p being more than acceptable. 4k is so resource hungry and like you mentioned takes forever to load. With 60fps it takes all the jerky movements out of panning and produces a quality shoot.😊😊

Actually I was surprised that I could fit them all into my little 256gb micro sd card in the GoPro. As a fellow camera kinda guy I saw that at 1080p 30fps the card would hold just over 10 hours of video footage. I just had to charge it every 2nd day. All up I recorded 3 hours of vids which I think will end up using about 90 minutes. 😃👍
@plato9797Ай бұрын
@@TropicalZooms I film at that rate also. 4k is super hungry for memory, Plus I need a new GPU for that so I'll be getting that soon. But I find the resolution at 1080p 30fps is more than enough and acceptable.
