Less restriction and the turbo spools a bit quicker. If your muffler is vibrating then it could be due to a worn vibration damper sending vibrations through the engine which you in turn are seeing on your muffler.

@@TechniqBB6 Even though I replaced all the vibration dampers, there is still vibration and noise. I want to get rid of muffler. If possible.

@@epsteinkrauss41 has the exhaust been changed in any way before? Perhaps an exhaust flex joint needs to be added.

Hey there bro, sorry about that. There's basically 2 wires on the reverse bulb socket. You just need to use a test light (or make up a makeshift one) and put one wire on a nearby nut/screw making contact with the body to act as an earth, and then put the other wire on the reverse socket to test which is the live one.

Nah no smoking before or after. There was a slight smoke residue initially after the delete but that was residual welding fumes and gas but that went away after a good drive 👍🏼

Hi, I have a completelystock exhaust system. What do I need to do to achieve the sound you have? Is it just a muffler delete, or did you remove anything else?@TechniqBB6

@traintraxx33 I only did the rear muffler delete and got this sound, so the and sound should be achieved if you do the same. The stock muffler has a lot of packing inside that dulls the sound and performance.

@@traintraxx33 when I was under the car while it was on the lift I did not see a DPF, but I'm not sure if the LCI models have the DPF inside the downpipe.

Yeah I'm grateful that it was just that issue and nothing more. Will check with my father-in-law on the torque setting.

Hi Peet and thanks for the comment. The radio brand is GPScar which falls under the same family brand as Mekede, Navifly and a few others. The camera is a universal one with a Sony lens. I supply the latest units by pre-order and they're now running Android 13.0 firmware with the reverse camera now offered as standard included in the price (previously it was an optional extra).

I do, but it's been in storage for the the past few years and very seldom sees the light of day. Hopefully I'll bring it out and keep it at home soon. Busy working on the garage where it will be parked at home.

Hey bro, what would you like to see in the review, and what sort of leaking issue were you told about?

@TechniqBB6 like a owners review, what you like and what you don't like maybe 5 things you like and 5 things you don't like and then common faults and maybe cost of ownership? Like major and minor services etc. I heard that the bootlid leaks in by the roof gutters because of a factory fault?

@BasicKustoms cool will do so as soon as I get a chance to. Perhaps the older models had leak issues but so far we haven't had an issue with water ingress. My wife's one will be up for sale soon as we need a bigger car now that we have 2 kids so if you're interested we can chat sometime 😀 😉

Not sure if the D4 is rare, might be rare in some parts of the world but I do believe we had/have the D4 variants for sale here in South Africa

Awesome, thanks a mill for subscribing 🙏 Yes, the rear wheel bearings come complete with the hub which makes it a simple replacement. The front needs to be pressed in which is a bit more complicated without having a press. Not sure about the torque specs, but I normally have them tightened to where the nut feels like it's right on the money and then punch the groove to ensure it doesn't unwind itself. Unfortunately the GD3 doesn't have isofix, but it does have a separate car seat seat belt from the roof.

Power is taken from one of the reverse bulb sockets. You'll have to use a test light to check which of the 2 wires on the socket is live and then run a wire from the rear under the trim towards the front where you connect it to the 2 red wires you'll see at 7:46 (this belongs to 2 auxiliary connectors, one of which plugs into the back of the radio/head unit, and one that plugs into the camera itself).
