great👍 much better than the other "make neck smaller" video-- this one won't have the extra fabric in the neckline. This one also makes it much better for women (it won't bunch up @ breast area; it makes sure the neckline won't come down in the front when you bend over :]

We call it Jacob's ladder stitch. It's quick and holds it well. I use regular thread but I think embroidery thread would hold better. Depends where the tear is.
