In terms of Akito and Shigure's relationship, I think Shigure did well enough putting on limits and not letting himself be abused by her. He understands how much trauma she has to deal with and so he refuses to indulge her in her toxic behaviors, and hell, the whole series' plot is kickstarted by his plans to help her change and grow. He's still extremely manipulative and even spiteful at times (ahem, he literally banged her mother as revenge for the Kureno stuff O_O) buuuut yeah...

This video popped up when I youtube searched "Hurley Pinback" reaction. There were 4 responses. The video that led me there was a cryptic message played to the song about John Titor who was a real person like SG. Do you know the song or know why this is the case? I haven't seen SG in years and it is one of my all time favorite shows and i was just wanting to watch an anime before i tried to learn that song on guitar and wanted to watch someone playing it. Actually nearly ended the DLC and i fell honestly that the entire Dlc should be into main game. Most precisely between chapters 4 and 6 or even late chapter 7 (specially when they start the flashbacks explanations thought...) The gameplay itself are very good. Even better than main game. But the dlc not explain too much about the game lore. Not explain what happened after the black fog appears, not explain why people from Bionis world can summon blades. They do not tell us the "real luck seven's name" They call it Sword of the end again...

I definitely think they sometimes leave things a little vague. I don't mind it but I understand where you're coming from. Yes the gameplay is 10/10 for me! Looking forward to seeing what they come up with next, and I kindaa hope they still tie in these stories in the future.

Suletta said that she doesn't know when is her birthday, so my theory is that she is actually 25 years old, her mother gaslighted her to think she is 17 or people in mercury simply don't keep track of time according to Earth. Mutants are a common troupe in Gundam series, so my other theory is that she mutated due to the permet her mother took during pregnancy, that would explain why only she could activate the Lfrith in the prologue. Also, the multiple Elans are not clones, they are normal kids who got plastic surgery.
@amberoveranalyzes8322

Ooh I like that theory. Didn't even think about how time is different on Mercury/other planets. That definitely plays into how time seems to be skewed. I could see the mutation theory too! Gave me a lot to think about, thanks for commenting! Haha, you're right. I misspoke. Wasn't sure what to call them. Plastic surgery Elans maybe?

I feel like 3 is the best stand alone XC game. If you're only going to play one XC game it should be 3. I don't think there's a huge difference between starting with XC1 or XC2. I would recommend starting with 1, because starting with 2 or 3 can make it pretty jarring to go back to 1 (as somebody who played 2 before 1) I know one thing for sure though, starting with X was a mistake
@amberoveranalyzes8322

Hey another person who played 2 before 1 :)! Ooh interesting you started with X! I haven't played that one so I have no knowledge on the topic haha. I agree 3 is great for a standalone experience. I think it's the easiest to get into out of the 3.

I think XC has a really engrossing setup and a strong plot with great twists, but it does forget some of its characters. XC3 really doubles down on the characters but - one memorable sequence aside - stumbles over the narrative finishing line for me. I think XC2 does a great job of fleshing out the world and delivering unexpected twists, as well as boasting a really strong cast who grow a lot. XC2 has the most rough edges for sure, but it has a heart and soul that’s difficult to deny once it gets it’s hooks in you. My favourite Xenoblade, with XC not a million miles away and XC3 a distant third.

I agree with your analysis 100%. There's an X Factor in 2 that I missed in the others (as you put it so well- it has such heart!) Don't get me wrong, love them all, but 2 is the one I want to replay. XC3 is third for me as well. I wonder if the DLC will answer a lot of the questions I have worldbuilding and character wise the way Torna did. Here's hoping!

Side of fascism? Strange since when wanting to save one's island from extermination by the works of other nations means being a fascist? You may not like Floch and that's because the world is beautiful because it's varied, but before criticizing something you have to understand it, analyze it, and put yourself in his shoes, it's too easy to consider him a "villain" simply because he has different goals than the protagonists. Floch is appreciated simply because he has an incredible narrative development, and he fought to the last so that Paradise is not destroyed. There are no good guys or bad guys in Aot everyone has very good reasons for acting the way they do.
@amberoveranalyzes8322
@amberoveranalyzes8322 Жыл бұрын
To be fair I think Marley also was extremely messed up obviously, and what happened to Paradis was wrong. But, Floch literally blindly follows Eren to exterminate the human race. I’ve thought this out for a very long time to come to this conclusion. Idk if he’s a villain, as much as I think he follows Eren as they do what was done to them. I think what Marley did was evil but I also think what Eren and in association Floch by following Eren are doing is evil. Obviously nothing is black and white so it’s not like I hate Floch but I don’t approve of his actions.
@amberoveranalyzes8322

Also the definition of facism is “a way of organizing society in which a government ruled by the dictator controls the lives of the people” is Eren not serving as a dictator by taking control of the Titans and deciding for everyone what must be done? Is Floch not on the side of Eren’s “leadership”? This is how I came to that conclusion.

@@amberoveranalyzes8322 I repeat what's wrong with wanting to save the island that educated and raised you from the extermination carried out by other nations? there is no second way to Paradise either use the rumbling or they will be destroyed by the rest of the world as the racism against them will never end! On the island Eren and the yaegerists are seen as national heroes, it is no coincidence that people toast in their honor and shout long life. Eren isn't acting out of revenge but out of simple self-defense and for other reasons (which I can't say otherwise are spoilers). The only fascists if we want to call them that are the Marleyans who force the Eldians to wear the band on their arm and their sovereign policy, colonizing various territories that's all, even if in the AOT era there is no being a patriot or in any case having expansionist aims nothing wrong since it has always been a normal and widespread thought in history in general, not nowadays but at the time there was nothing negative. Floch and Eren while sharing rumbling have different purposes that I can't reveal otherwise it would be spoiler. Floch fights for the island not to be destroyed and for all the inhabitants to survive, he hypothesizes that if Eren were stopped, Paradise would be attacked and bombed by the rest of the world killing everyone living on the island and this doesn't seem like such an impossible scenario. Then I repeat I never said that you have to like it but you have to know how to argue and understand the role of each character otherwise you will make wrong analyses. No one is right or wrong in AOT, they all have excellent reasons for doing what they do, everyone has got their hands dirty with blood but that doesn't mean the protagonists are "good" and Floch and Eren "ugly and bad" there are huge nuances
@amberoveranalyzes8322

@@LoneWolf-xq4bs from the perspective I have as an anime only I respectfully disagree. I’m always willing to change my mind and who knows what will happen in the last episodes, but based on what I know I think what Floch and Eren are doing is evil. As in their actions. Not that they the people are just evil and bad lol. I mean how is killing a bunch of innocent people not an evil action? Lol. I love how everyone in the show, including the protagonists are nuanced and do not always do the right thing. I get wanting to save Paradis from destruction, but to kill all of humanity to do it? That’s exactly like what Marley was doing to the Eldians. Both sides (Marley and Eren) are wrong in my view.

I still don't understand why eren would beat up armin or say stuff to him and lie to mikasa about her headaches and saying that he hates her. I mean even if he is too much freedom oriented, I think he still values their friendship. This would only mean that like reiner got into split personality due to his selfish wish to become hero by defeating paradis even though he had friends in paradis. Likewise eren feels shit and he even told that he is worse than reiner but he will still do it because that is who he is and probably he thinks he doesn't deserve armins friendship and mikasas love. Kind of like self loathing.

Eren feels like he will move forward because it is his nature to do so, to become free by destroying enemies and thus enjoying the things he saw in armins book. But he is also a human so he is also conflicted and internally broken. Think of it like how an addict would behave. He would resort to addictions but feel shit about himself and so he can't kill himself but maybe he can give others a choice to kill him and end him as reiner said. While eren does value freedom above all but his obsession with freedom is a mental one. He tries to achieve it but never gets it. He reached sea and thought it would be freedom but he didn't feel freedom cause there were enemies beyond sea. Mikasa offered Eren ice cream but he couldn't enjoy it, nor the outside world which is understandable but I guess it shows erens mindset Eren fights and achieves the point to be achieved but then he loses motivation unless there is another point. He feels freedom will be achieved at certain point. But when he reaches that point then he doesn't feel the freedom.

8:40 Yo, I just thought how ymir sacrficed herself to protect the king even though he called her slave and treated her like shit. Eren also, though he lied, called mikasa a slave. Mikasa is emotionally dependent on eren because of her trauma while I think ymir also is some way dependent on king and for some reason she sacrficed herself for the king. Usually people don't think much about mikasas character but she wasn't able to answer her feelings in season 4 episode 28 when eren asked her why does she care about him. She doesn't know if she loves eren or is emotionally dependent on him and thus her feelings are confused. I mean ymir feels like a different story but is not her sacrificing for king even after the king treating her like shit some sort of ymirs confusion about herself and her relationship with the king?

@@amberoveranalyzes8322 I think that even if rumbling succeeds, it doesn't solve the fundamental human problem of conflicts and wars. As armin said in s4 episode 23, infighting will start in the island for titan powers. If genocide is the answer to problems of cycles of violence then in future if such cycles again start then people will only resort to such violence. It's like a precedence. Attack on Titan is trying to say, in my opinion, that the solution to any evil is to not become the same evil. It is to triumph over our tribalism and thought processes and achieve some higher order goals. Erwin sacrficied his dream to know about truth of outside world and led the charge against beast titan. Gabi saved Kaya where kaya wanted to kill gabi. Gabi once being a hard-core against wall people. And many other characters are making choices that are tough but they think are right.
