Yeah I thought it was comical myself. I started with a big 1480kv ( not sensored)motor. I just thought it was super cool that the sensored motor to match a max 6 worked like that.

Definitely. I had a big new hobbystar that I put in with the max 6 to try it out. I was not maximizing the potential. Once I switched to the 4990 hobbywing, it was a beautiful thing...

It is great for multiple reasons. I have the max 6. It needed the sensor system. I tried the sensorless first.....

I recently changed from a larger hobbystar to the 4990 hobbywing. The max 6 needed the sensor to run it's best.
