Certainly was especially with them new upgraded drives the spin on the seats is so much more forceful and now 360 degree spin.

It may be something we might do next year as when we were leaving yesterday vast majority of rides had already started to pack up and some were already leaving and that was about 11pm

Yeah we did notice there seemed to be a lot more enthusiasts and vloggers but also more local people. I think the reduction in the ride line up may have had a part to play in it.

It is a good ride but in our opinion out of the 2 new rides Apollo 13 was more of a standout ride.

Yeah I think we may have seen you as we got there about 7 and didn’t leave till 10 not that hard to miss us as we are always in our screams n thrills uniform when recording

@@screamsnthrills By 7pm I was between Caylon Mulhern's Don Sapo Jump And Smile and Reece Robinson's Tagada, also I see you recorded some offride footage of William Roberts Megaspin which I was unable to get any videos of as the ride was still closed at about 4:30pm when I past it as the operator box was closed even though I saw the ride was switched on and working but I didn't see any cycles happening for the first good few hours of that ride unfortunately. :)

@@fairgroundfan1823 yeah there’s been a few rides like that since opening crash test took a couple of days to be open Apollo 13 had some down time mega spin had been a bit hit and miss too and star flyer was off one day for a few hours only one I know for certain that we’ve not seen have down time on the thrill rides is atmos fear but then they could just been down cause the operator has had to step out

@@screamsnthrills Well Megaspin was unfortunately a miss for me this time then and I really wanted to get a video of it, but I was already nearly done of walking up the entire field by 7/8pm and I was about to go home so I didn't bother walking all the way back down to do Megaspin then. :)

It is something we are looking into but can’t confirm at the moment.

The grass was left to help protect the ground while they built up plus the footfall would soon flatten the long grass which it is already as we seen yesterday when we were there.

Fabbri Boosters have been around for over 20 years and are really common, as is the KMG Speed - I don't see anything that justifies £10 for this ride, even the maxx version

All ways makes me laugh how the gaff lads try to call you on a ride by waving their hands 😂😂I know there told to by the Showmen but if your gonna go on a ride it’s by your own choice and your gonna go on it because you want to not because some one is waving at you 😂😂Fair play to them it’s an old tradition but a little outdated in these modern times 👍Great vlog by the way 👍The prices range from extortionate to good value 👍Must be rich up North 😂😂😂👍

There’s a car park not far from there which is cheaper it’s Claremont parking it’s just a short walk to get to the hoppings

There’s been a few there that we know and there will be more going while it’s on we are going to be there most days but today as we’ve got work in Bradford with another showman helping him pull down some rides

Please think about everything that these showmen have to pay for it all adds up and costs a fortune prices are going up for everyone so I’d expect ride prices to go up, we work behind the scenes with some showmen so know a little of everything they have to pay and trust me when I say it isn’t cheap, if you haven’t already there is some ride tokens that’s 50p off it isn’t much but does add up

There is only one star flyer which is Abie danters, we would recommend Ice Jet, Atmos Fear, XXL and Apollo 13

We’ve not tried crows yet but we’ve been on void and so far that’s the best one we’ve been on

@@screamsnthrills never tried void but Crow's is good. The first part is pretty fast but not bad but when it goes back up for round 2 it's a beast. All in all a very good ride.

Yes just wasn’t set up when we went and did the video yesterday so hopefully it’s set up for opening

They are both magnificent looking attractions never been through the fun house but icejet is a favourite of ours.

We’ve only seen Alex’s twist go so I couldn’t tell you but I know Alex’s twist is quite fast and always get a decent cycle, Apollo is really can’t wait to get on her tomorrow

Nope same ride was just sold to Tony Wilkinson beginning of the year no loop fighter as far as I’m aware called project x specially in the uk there’s atmos fear, Red Devil and then Alex crows new one when he gets it

From what I’ve seen of Apollo 13 she’s going to be a beast of a ride

It’s cash and card most rides and food stalls and side stalls ie hook a ducks have a card reader for you to use your own bank card but they do prefer cash as cash is king

You never do there just need a bank loan for the food and drink

If your looking behind it’s cause it’s waterlogged so can’t use it

However you can tell that the new spot was never intended for that type of ride as part of it is obscured by the food stalls. It’s set back out of line with the rest along that side.

Yeah I don’t think they thought about the height as much as that was what the issue was.

It is up north or do you mean further north that Newcastle? We’ve seen one once and that was in Watford as we called into a fair to see Ice Jet and it was the first time we had seen one I find them a lot more interesting that ghost trains
