I have run into a problem in following this video to repair my own lens because the video jumps to the lens being partly extended before it is indicated that the lens needs to be partly extended. At the beginning the lens is not extended. Then suddenly it is partly extended. Then we are told that needs to be fully extended. However, if you haven't partly extended the lens by the time you get to this point, how do you fully extend it?

OK, I made it to the gear. It's surgical small. Mine seems like it has irregular spacing. The aperture can still be manually turned, but it's difficult. I'll have to order one. Question: since I'm already this far along, if I wanted to remove the dust from inside the inner lens, would I keep dismantling from this point, or is that something that can be addressed from the other side (outside) of the camera? Thanks.

OK, now I'm happy and sort of worried. Happy: I have the same problem here with two of my lenses (kzfaq.info/get/bejne/jZqkYNqAr7WYnXk.html). All the time I go somewhere and lose the chance to take a good picture I get thinking "yeah, I have to find a way to fix it somewhere else (I live in Brazil and my work-related travels are mostly 1-week-long, so repair centers won't give me an estimate before I travel). Anyway, now I've finally found a good disassembling and fixing video, and it seems to be much more feasible than I thought it would be. Precise as hell, but interesting, to say the very least. Worried: will I do that? :D Congrats!

Deja Vu..... The Nikon AW-1 winder for the Nikkormat El, 1972 vintage (yes I am that old), used a white plastic gear cog that was extremely prone to cracking and failure.

Hi I have a question, I'm still new to the camera world(I'm very beginner). I heard that the quality of camera is determined by 3 things, sensor size, pixel size(micron) and aperture. And most of action camera sensor size is 1/2.3", that's equal with most of compact camera sensor size. But because the focus of action camera was fixed, it can't do the bokeh effect. My question is, does change the lens also change the sensor size? or the sensor size is still the same? I don't know whether the sensor size is attached to the lens or attached to the gear/machine. If it's attached to the gear, it means it will be the same(and it's the other way around.) Thanks you so much!

Hey man I know it’s been a while, but incase you haven’t gotten an answer, the sensor is not attached to the lens. The sensor remains the same

would this be why while shooting it fades to black and won't take a pic even though it's still on? I noticed when i twisted the lense to zoom out it seemed to trigger it. I haven't used the camera and lens all that much tho.

Hi. I have a T12 BC3 tip (Hakko technology, a clone), I checked the ohms it's not OL but the workstation reboots when I use this tip (it's new. The soldering workstation is a T12 from KSGER). Any way to repair this tip? What's the Temp (celsius) limit of Hakko (and clones) T12 tips? Thank you. God bless, Rev. 21:4

Can you tell me the diameter of the motor shaft ? Did you have to use a glue for the new gear or was it a press fit ?

Hi if you mean what size? Then im sorry, but i always chose what fits best by feel-test. And i bought some repair screw set from e-bay, there is lot different to choose from. And watch out the two "bolts" on springs. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/d86ge8Zp3c3Hgo0.htmlm15s

Hello. Interesting... I thought only my KSGER unit had this strange behavior. One workaround that worked for me was to turn the buzzer off. Can you try that out and let me know, please? Thank you!

Hi, i will try later. And also i found it makes also on STNDBY and SLEEP randomly.

So yes looks like it working, there must be some fault maybe in the firmware, mainboard or the buzzer itself. Thnx for the workaround.

@@tom_do_things568 Hi. Thanks to you for testing the workaround. It seems that the issue is related to the infamous buzzer, indeed. I'm going to complain to the seller I bought the unit from. Cheers!
