You don’t lose tension when coming down??? For example if you doing biceps, you still feel the tension while bringing your arm down.

Needs an overhaul on the resistance method. The resistance is inconsistent, jerky and not synchronised . Owned one for 3 years btw. There’s another company now making an electric version which I received last week (same size as maxpro), and even though it’s supposedly less resistance, the difference is night and day. It also has resistance on the negative which makes it worlds apart from the maxpro. I will maybe look at selling the maxpro now

Looks like pretty much everything I'm looking for......except for eccentric. It's the deal breaker for me. If I knew you guys were working on a product, I'd probably invest. There's 3 pieces. 2 have an attachment loop on one side and what I'll call a male screw part....the third piece has a male and female part on both ends....if the third piece had a female part on both ends it would get screwed in from both sides...but since it has a male part on one side and a female part on the other...how the hell do I screw it because I end up with two male parts pointing at each other one one side whichever side I screw the female part in. Hope this helps you help me.

Apologies guys for not getting it straight forward: what is the difference between concentric mode and concentric biased. is the eccentric phase active or not or up to a certain level. On the other hand. if the max resistance is 300 lbs and it has 25 positions is the resistance curve linear (if that is the case why not simply writing the lbs instead of the 25 positions)? how many lbs correspond to position one? apologies for these tedious questions, i ask them cause i am vary much interested in the product not to waste your time. Thanks and best. ps. if semantics aside it’s concentric only in full honesty i will not be interested.

Listen to his review … I’ve had 3 units for over a year now and it does all this and more. The real reason I have 3 units is I just don’t like switching from bench to wall to standing positions so I have a three station system.

Does this provide any eccentric loading? It seems like it's some form of torsion or gearing that resists the concentric phase, but it seems there's little to no resistance on the eccentric phase.

In fact, a recent independent UCLA study published this year in the peer-reviewed Scientific Journal of Sports and Performance proved that MAXPRO is equal to weights for size and strength gains. However, it does so in a much safer way, particularly on the joints, which can be especially helpful for less experienced lifters. I replaced my MaxPro b/c there was clicking on the right side, eventually the right side did not feel the same as the left. My new replacement unit is almost doing the same thing? The clicking only occurs during the recoil. The left and right feel the same at the moment. But I do notice the clicking is getting louder. Am I the only one having this issue?
