Absolutely! You can’t go wrong with Secrets Maroma or Secrets Akumal. The staff here is amazing and the food is excellent.

Everything is included with the all inclusive package except for the wine. House wine is included with your meals if you don’t mind. If you like to eat like me and my boys, you’ll love the food here. No reservations needed and men will have to wear pants for the Bluewater Grill and Nebbiolo.

@@Juan1985g can’t say because we didn’t drink any. We downed mostly Modelo and Don Julio Reposado. My buddy bought a few bottles of red wine for dinner and they were reasonably priced, $60-$100. They have a sommelier on site so you can ask for recs. Btw, if you buy wine… you will get a table right away. Lobby bar has Ketel One and Belvedere, if you drink vodka.

@@ltnvariety3249 Thank you for the info! This will be come useful for sure. We are in preffered club, should have access to premium liquor (whatever that means). I do drink vodka. And kettle one is my to go choice! So definitely gonna follow ur advice. The girlfriend drinks Tequila and she likes Don Julio so we got the best of both worlds in the resort.

@@Juan1985g with the preferred club, you’ll get private check-in. You’ll also get access to the infinity pool on the 12th floor and a la carte breakfast at Olio. Your room will also be on higher floors. Other than that, everything is the same. Best liquor choices for me was the lobby bar. Bars don’t open until 11am.

I think so. Even though there were a lot of couples, there are plenty spaces for you to be alone or to socialize.

Not at all. It was half empty. Plenty of room at the pools and restaurants.

No restrictions and they were very relaxed with the mask wearing.

Even in August they were still relaxed. You only need a covid test to fly out of MX, into the US but the resort offers a complementary test on site

Good question. You are right. This room has zero ocean views. But the trade off is you have your privacy. Also to note, the beach, the infinity pool, and the two ocean view restaurants are literally right out side your room. So if you prefer the swim out pool and the ocean views then this room is not for you. The wife and I were having the same convo and we would select the tropical swim out next time instead.
