I live in Pennsylvania near a lake with a nest of bald eagles. Just not long ago an eagle took a juvenile cane Corso and dropped it like 50 to 80 feet before coming down and trying to eat it. It was scared off by the owners shooting at it. But they lost their dog sadly.

Ya, that's what I thought. Saw the dog and I'm like, no hawk's gonna take a medium size dog like that. A large type of eagle might but even then, dogs bite back and predators try to get easy meal.

Nope! That hawk was going for the easy pickings, the old fat guy 😂 no way was it going to catch the wily, goofy labradoodle. They are as slippery as buttered pigs to catch. My neighbor has one and it pounces out right with a full frontal assault of goofiness as well as clumsy, awkward yet efficient stealth. Whenever I come outside I had better be prepared to get knocked down and goofied into submission.
