Limbo's lore is quite a bit more complicated than that: The Tenno in control of this wasrframe was a genious mathematician, who not only theorized the existence of a separate "Limbo Dimension" (now known as the Rift) between reality and the Void, but also proved it's existence, then modified his warframe to be able to enter and exit said dimension at will and also managed to utilize it in warfare. Then, and this is where most people get confused, he found a way to jump directly into the Void itself. What he miscalculated was not the coordinates, but rather how much pressure his warframe could withstand while tearing through dimensional walls. So he crashed into the dimensional wall between the Limbo Dimension and the Void, and got flattened from the force of the collision, which caused such a violent explosion that his warframe's pieces had scattered throughout the Origin System. There's only one thing that highly likely managed to enter the Void, which is what already belonged to it: The mind of the Tenno.

I support the Legion because the NCR dollar is a fiat currency. It isn't backed by anything and only has value because the NCR government says so. Similarly, caps only have value because merchants of the hub traded with it. But during the events of Fallout 2 bottlecaps lost all value. There are only so many bottlecaps in the world so that means it can't be inflated like NCR dollars can, but it still has no real value. Caesar's Legion uses precious metals as their currency. Gold is an industrial metal. when you buy gold you store its future use. Eventually, all gold will be used for something. But it may change hands numerous times before that happens, for speculative or other reasons. But there is an end user that will buy your gold for its own sake to make stuff. People always say that the Legion will collapse, but what they don't consider is the NCR collapsing. They're being undercut by Mr. House and they're continuously fighting in several wars against Raiders and the Legion. They're printing out more money to be able to pay their soldiers and guess what happens? inflated currency. The NCR will see a great depression situation if they lose the dam or go through some event that generates hyperinflation, which is sure to happen with the current NCR administration. The Legion is set for long term stability with a foundation that Caesar set with the faction's currency and infrastructure. The NCR however is on track to collapse on itself. This is the TRVE reason, bros. buy gold and silver now while the United States dollar is being inflated to hell with our current spending bill.
