No protective clothing, no PAPR system, nor welding goggles, I wonder if they know that both the U.V. light and gasses from the welding cause skin and lung cancer, not to mention blindness. Smh.

The inherent strength of the girder is vastly reduced by the use of the acetylene torch, this has a negative effect on the steels hardening which directly relates to its load carrying ability. Amature fly by nights, they should never be allowed to destroy steels load carrying capacity through reckless random heat treatment like that. its criminal.

Everyone's an expert on here, its just a trailer frame relax i like the mum and pop team and there are days where i wish i could wear sandles, also he is only tacking it, not welding it yet, and his hand is shielding the arc if you look closely

It's amazing how the welding arc is so close to the real thing. I think it is sad that both workers don't have a welding hood.

I was in 1992, had worked at the MULCINDO Steel Structure company as an operator making WIDE FLANGE and HBeam with a welding system. not long after that I worked as a Welder with Grade 6 SMAW Classification. and now I'm still working in the Steel Structure field for the construction of WORKSHOP buildings in various companies.

No ppe, no problem. One of the harshest lessons I learned was closing my eyes or looking away when I was helping someone weld. Couldn’t open my eyes for a week. Was Tig welding and it went right through my eye lids. Even though he’s tack welding that will add up over the years. Not to mention skin cancer. But it’s his life. No OSHA there.

Meh, they're both 21, have at least another 10 good years in them. But outside the western world, this is standard welding methods.

The term "mom & pop shop" is not that uncommon in North America ....but it certainly does NOT mean/suggest or intend to be anything like this!!! Just imagine how much faster the bending could have been done with TWO tiger torches. I wonder if the "beam" is ever "tested" or "certified" to anything? .

NO good...you just ruined the metals micro structure by heating too much, it shouldve been cut ou and rewelded in sections.....duh

Why are there no videos of manufacturing and fabrication factories in the U.S. Oh yeah that's right we don't make anything here in America anymore , we use, cheap (shhhh...."slave labor....hush don't tell anyone) labor in China instead of being the leading manufacturer like we once were. Oh yes there are still things made in U.S.A. but it's nothing compared to what it was. It's our own dang fault for buying everything made in china.

Just about 100% of the comments are complaints. Easy fix, Don't buy from China....but anything. No socks, pants, shoes especially. If you are not willing to do that, then these folks stay in business. They don't worry about the slippers - you don't need to either.

Cos peasants are replaceable and ABUNDANT in CeeCPee Planned Economy. Safety costs. Slaves are MORE THAN abundant. Especially after PRCee destroys farmland to build Ghost Town High Rise Apts. Migrant workers w no more homes n farmlands just keep on coming. Hooray Great Ol Chanah. Do you still wanna buy MADE IN CHANAH made by Slave Migrant Workers who work in UNSAFE conditions at slavery labor pay?

No Automation. Can Hire more Migrant Workers 农民工, cheap Slave Labor prices, at US$150 per month, while Factory can transfer US$ millions to foreign accounts. This is how actual Planned Economy w Chanese characteristics works. Abuse peasants who are replaceable and steal AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE. Ah Great Old Motherland Chanah.
