Nice list. I love vetiver but haven't tried many of these yet. Creed Original Vetiver is my current favorite vetiver that I've come across so far.

I recently picked up L'Artisan Parfumeur's Il Etait un Bois, which is gorgeous blend of vetiver and cedarwood, with a bit of buckwheat that gives a toasty note to the vetiver. It's really grassy with a woody base. Gorgeous! Catch a sample if you ever get a chance.

Is CH Men Pasion very spicy ? not the biggest fan of spicy fragrances I do have Givenchy Gentleman EDP and absolutely love it how would you say CH Men Pasion compares?

I’m trying to figure out if I like vetiver forward fragrances, starting with Encre Noir as well as Fzotic’s Vetiverissimo. It’s ok, not my favorite note, but I recognize its versatility. That said, I’m interested to see if it grows on me.

Thanks for this video. Vetiver is in my top 3 notes. I'm a fan of the soapiness, freshness, clean, grass cut scents. They are very masculine. You're right ✅️ on about the Mancera Vetiver Sensuel. It's one that I recommended to a co-worker for her son. He likes it. It's one that older and younger guys can enjoy. Planning on getting the Lunar Vetiver. All on this list are 👍🏿 👍🏿

My absolute favorite note right now! Vetiver is so good. Mon Vetiver from Essential Parfums is pretty nice, it's lighter with a hint of lime.

40 knots is anything remotely like marine and woods together or like being on a yacht. It opens with cinnamon, then transforms in to amber, tobacco, vanilla that is luxurious and rich. Completely suited for fall and winter. So do not be fooled people thinking it’s aquatic it’s far from it it’s an amber based fragrance.

Besides I live in the Philippines and if you bought Louis Vuitton you wouldn't know if you was getting a real deal or not. So I just leave well enough alone and leave it alone. Besides shoot man I ain't no way I'm going to pay three $400 for a bottle of juice.

I've been thinking about making black afghano my signature scent or at least the inspired by ones like project Black by Pandora scents. But there is one here made locally in the Philippines by an inspired by company called vulgar and it smells just like it you know just like the project black and the black afghano. They are really good smelling sensts to me.

Great content. This is a perfect collection to build from. I must admit that I'm way beyond a practical collection, and I'm not a youtuber. In the beginning, I was collecting & learning at the same time. Now that I pretty much know what I like, I'm only adding 10/10s & Classics. It's warm 75 % of the year here in Texas, so I'm getting more warm weather fragrances to get more uses. This is definitely a great list to start with. MFK aqua media is my favorite summer freshie with Thomas Kosmala Sport No 4. Im actually wearing Oligarch/Isola Blu rn. It actually performs very well in this hot weather. I need to get my nose on Masa. I love fruity sweet fragrances

Boy that is so tough to narrow fragrances down, as there are so many good ones. What would I add to your list? Yin Transformation, Hypnotizing Fire, Moon Glory and Golden Wood by The HARMONIST. I would also add Plum In Cognac by Scents Of Wood. I would add Passion De L’Amour Nouvelle Liaison, Ruby Flame, N.001 and Dignified by House Of Sillage. And finally I would add the new MFK called Reflets d’ambre which is a Harrods exclusive.

I’ve been watching some of your backlog of videos that I’ve missed and I’m very impressed with both your knowledge and wide selection of fragrances. You don’t talk about the same fragrances that the usual suspects just regurgitate over and over again. Have you ever showed your collection on camera? I’d like to see that. I still want to get Blue Oud. We just got two new niche perfumeries in my city but no one has Arabian Oud yet and I don’t want to blind buy it. Tabac 28 sounds amazing. I have considering ordering it when it becomes available during their annual “sales” event.

For a cheap one, don't overlook Thallium - Yves de Sistelle All year fragrance and compliment magnet. Yes, for collectors it is on the synthetic side, but for normies it pulls the love hard!

I’ve been trying Lovers for the past few days. I love the smell but the drydown is very similar to Mefisto Gentiluomo (which I own). Is it just me or anyone else see the similarities?

It's hit or miss with me. I find the citrus fruits work well on me and and I like the way I smell when i wear them. Mango and fig and the broad "fruity notes" that sometimes appear as notes, not so much. I enjoy melon notes. I don't want to wear cherry. I'm down with black currant. Not down with strawberry. So it depends. Of the ones you mentioned, Hacivat is my favorite. Erba Pura I tried a sample and I felt the fragrance was wearing me instead of the other way. It was just overwhelming.and that was just the regular bottle, never mind the intense version. So that's my least favorite. I have not gotten my nose on Masa yet. Cheers!

Pacific chill is great.I just picked up a bottle last week. My wife and I both love it. Great selection. My brother smelled it on me said he’s going to pick up a bottle and he’s not that big fragrances lol. Going to definitely pick up that Masa been hold back on it for a while. Blessings
