I am guessing law enforcement wouldn't use no-drill mounts? The one I saw in a cruiser looked incredibly solid and bolted to the side of the console as well, I believe. Where would they get there's from?

Years ago I bought a laptop mount for my Titan and it was awesome . Then I bought 2 mounts for my GPS for my boats they were awesome . So I just bought a new GoPro Hero 11 Black , so I went tp Ram's site and bought a 1" ball mount for the GoPro 11 when it got here it was a POS and cost me $22 and some change . I have two GoPros a H7White and the H11Black so I needed one more went to Temu and got one from them that is 10 times better than the Ram POS . The Temu is made just like the real GoPro ball mount and as well made Oh yeah it was $3.29 and got free shipping with a few other things . I'm through with Ram Mounts , WAY over priced and sorry quality .

Why is it that when it is not open all the way that it is moving? You can twist it, do you really have to put the rubber all the time? Isn't it supposed to be secured and stable?

Works perfectly! I used the largest grip washer that would fit inside to prevent the rubber from tearing.

Use the biggest allowable tooth nut. If you destroyed your first rubber wedge like I fid before reading the comments. Then just cut a small sliver of rubber from the orginal from each end and the upsize the tooth nut. You can still salvage it.

No, it's not the same. I use something called Dielectric Silicone Grease and it's working great. I have been using Dielectric Silicone Grease in automotive ignition spark plug wires and many other electrical connectors in engine compartment for a long time. It works well in extreme low temperatures to super-hot heat from engine / exhaust.

What i do clean the windshield and the suction cup of dirt and then use a alcohol swab and put alcohol on the cup then stick to windshield i find it holds better.

Went through two of these following instructions. Both are torn to pieces and didn’t work. I’m going to stick with my quad lock. 10x easier and feels so much more secure at high speeds

Some RAM 2500 trucks have a heating duct that requires the included extension kit to circumnavigate the duct. Its use, however, results in a flimsy shaky mount that allowed my 12" tablet to sway as mucn as an inch while driving on interstate highways in my MT tires. This no dril mount also precludes the use of my passenger side RAM floor mat. I ended up taking mine out, but failed to return it within the companies short return window.
