This could be the solution to my problem, although I wonder where I ensure that the data the customer entered will be displayed in the order backend? I had a similar approach with a product where I added custom properties. And it seemed to work when the customer ordered that product, but when using it in a bundle, the data was lost. So for every order of a bundle, I had to manually ask the customers what choice they made for that property 🙈

Thanks for sharing 💚. What would you recommend if the bundled products have a lot of variants? There is a limit set by shopify that makes it impossible to exceed 100 variants. I really hate the idea of using a 3rd party app to achieve this...

I am having issue after running migrate file. initializers.DB is coming out as nil. But in ConnectToDB I can establish connection DB. Is there some other platform to address issues like this?

Great video Robby. "I have a main product in Shopify which has 3 variant options. Those 3 variants have their relative child products through metafields. Now I am showing 3 variants along with their child products on the main product. Now I want to show the price so that when I click on the variant of the main product, the related child should show as well as the price of the main product's variant and whenever I click on the variant of the related child, the child's price should show and whenever I click on add to cart, the price should show and the price I have clicked on should also be updated at the checkout."

isnt it a bad idea to store the db connection string in an env variable? it can be accessed on the front end. I'm going to watch this video and put it all in the backend and secure it with a public api key and then only allow calls from a certain ip.
