Hi. Can u help me out . I have some issues today with my water jet. Basicaly when the head are finish cutting they are not cut out completly , its left like very smal tiny "teeth" which holds the part to main sheet. Normaly ready cut out parts came lossley out. Im doing something wrong with mine drawings on cad and cam?

Been operating the 4'x4' (A1212) for almost 2yrs now where I work and hands down one of the best things they have ever purchased! The water raise feature was a sell for the office people upstairs that forget work goes on in the plant and the door (slightly bad design but functional) was a sell for all the idiots that walk by with no safety glasses on. Excellent machine through and through!

How much did it cost? I’m thinking of having one put in a 2 car garage. Any advice on placement for easy access for maintenance?
@brownp93 Жыл бұрын
@@AwesomeProjects20 if not on their site, ask for a floorplan layout for the pump and machine placement. Pump has hard-line to machine and discharge tubes. Don't get the filtration bag or whatever it's called that is a separate unit with a pneumatic pump. There is a minimum for the offset back distance of the setup and wish we did maybe another foot or 2 because when the Yaxis is all the way back the high pressure hard-line touches some material we store back there. Leave enough room on the right side of the machine to add media to the main hopper.

Hi Jeff. Is there a resource available for IGEMs material database updates? My material library has a small variety of materials but i am always running into materials that I don't have. Especially plastics. They seem to vary a lot. Thanks for these tutorials!
@Wardjet2 жыл бұрын
Hi Nathan, Hypertherm has a nice waterjet feed rate calculator at waterjet-calculator.hypertherm.com/ that has a lengthy list of materials. After selecting your pump horsepower, material and thickness, you can choose your nozzle/orifice combination, abrasive flow rate and cutting pressure and then it will give you a suggested Q5-Q1 range. Over on the right-hand side, it will also show you information like estimated cost per hour, cost per inch and piercing times.

Can you make a waterjet cutting system powerful and fast enough so it can be used by icebreaker vessels to cut their way through arctic ice? With the arctic melting icebreakers will be a booming business in the decades to come. Cutting the ice in front of the icebreakers could greatly improve their performance and efficiency.

I am very green on pulling the pdf's straight in. Should every PDF/print be able to import into IGEMS?
@jeffsigemspage75153 жыл бұрын
You should be able to open any PDF. The quality of the PDF will have a direct influence on how useful the drawing is. Something that is a photocopy of a print isn't going to be as good as a PDF straight out of CAD. And always verify that you scale it up or down to the correct size. Call or email me if you have any questions. [email protected]. 330-677-9100 x121. Thanks -- Jeff

Why is even the most preliminary price not available anywhere without needing to call Wardjet? Is this so Wardjet has the oppurtunity to determine what each customer can afford to pay so that no customer ever knows whether they're over paying? Or simply because WARDJet is living in 1990 and doesn't know that people shop for everything online and if they can't find a price they move on to other vendors?
@Wardjet3 жыл бұрын
Hi Kyle, thanks for asking that question. Our waterjets are customizable to each customer, so providing a “preliminary” price wouldn’t provide the real value for the type of machine that suits your specific business needs. What is preliminary for you may not preliminary for another customer in a different part of the world. We encourage you to either call us at 1-844-WARDJET, send an email to [email protected], or fill out the online contact form wardjet.com/get-in-touch. Thanks again for reaching out.
