If you search "Easy Microwave Poached Egg On Toast Recipe", this is brilliant :-)
@johnwinter21611 жыл бұрын
OK I am not here to insult anyone. Firstly, yes it is unwise to microwave tinfoil. However in this case I am guessing that because it is immersed in water (water being a conductor) the water is absorbing the microwaves. Please remember microwaves are also a form of radioactivity (very dangerous). What do they use at nuclear power plants to make it a safe environment? Water! I will say this to you MsBoopable: It takes 1 minute & 10 seconds to make a SOFT poached egg & no foil involved :-)

You said it was perfect on the inside ... looked kinda "runny" from here. Besides, who'd believe someone who sticks their tongue out at you? Okay, I admit... at least yours didn't explode, unlike most of these videos.

I'm pretty sure that's just the colour of the yolk. Even when I cook eggs other ways, it's that colour. If you end up with a hard boiled egg, you can always just scrape the yolk out and just have the white
@HiddenMistxxx12 жыл бұрын
Is the yolk orange because of the type of egg or because it was microwaved? I wanna try this but I'm picky with the way the yolk tastes

You have never seen a microwave explode because of tin foil. It is a perfectly acceptable way to shield parts meat that you don't want to have microwave hit. You just don't want the foil to touch the side walls. Stop fear mongering.
@toolofbordem12 жыл бұрын
the only thing that can happen is you burn out your microwave (which is not likely from most videos you will see on here like people microwaving light bulbs ect) they are much more durable than that and will only burn out if you microwave solid metal repeatedly like hundreds of times. and if you have seen microwaves (plural) explode that way than your the idiot because that doesn't happen and that means your doing something worse than what she is doing to make them explode! idiot idiot idiot!!!!
@magickop199512 жыл бұрын
It is okay to put on a foil in the water (Well it's seem fine on my microwave oven.)because the rays of the microwave don't actually reflex on the foil. The water act like a protective layer.
@MsBoopable12 жыл бұрын
Yes I am crazy but thats a whole other story ;-) You can use tin foil in a microwave...If you research it, you will see that this is in fact, true. And the way I was using it is actually safer than other ways it can be used because the water sheilds the foil from causing any damage. Thanks for watching :-)

tin foil in a microwave ARE YOU FUCKING CRAZY I have seen microwaves explode that way. you NEVER put tin foil, gold or anything of the kind in a MICROWAVE and what's worse your teaching OTHERS to do it too. STUPID stupid stupid!!!!!!

Why are comments pending approval? is it because foil in the microwave is dangerous? or are you just afraid of criticism?

@cjewelz Umm in a cup - probably not. The mug that I use, while it is a larger one, probably wouldn't fit two in there but I think if you had a bowl big enough then I cant see why not...it would just be a matter of experimenting with the different times etc to achieve the outcome (ie soft or hard boiled)...
@scottishwun12 жыл бұрын
you tryna kill us foil in microwave wat the
@MsBoopable12 жыл бұрын
@jgk381 Yep it is. Metal in a microwave actually reflects the micro waves and thats why, when unprotected, it will spark-especially when crinkled. But water absorbs the micro waves first before they get to the foil. Foil can actually be used in microwave cooking, often to sheild certain areas from food to prevent uneven cooking. Just depends what you're cooking.
@jgk38112 жыл бұрын
@MsBoopable It could be the foil in water that prevents it from sparking.

@kleinebre Explain it once more? I don't remember explaining to you in the first place... But anyways............For whatever reason, I can never boil eggs in a pan....it just doesnt work for me lol so I like to do it this way.
@kleinebre12 жыл бұрын
Explain to me once more what's wrong with boiling eggs in a pan with water? It'll take less than 7 minutes and you won't be sending any foil to landfill. Also, as your pan will have a handle, you won't be needing any oven mitts. **TA DA**!

@MsBoopable12 жыл бұрын
@mark12130 Then you were obviously doing it wrong lol...I do it at least once a week either for boiled egg for my cesear salad (which rocks BTW) or for eggs on toast for a weekend breaky....never had any drama. Make sure you fill the mug right to the top with water.
