This movie was based on the tragic death of Skylar Neese. My heart goes out to Skylar and her family and friends and the way she was murdered was so evil. Her killers Shelia Eddy and Rachel Shoaf said they did it because they didn't like her anymore but that was a lie. The reason why Shelia and Rachel killed her is because Shelia and Rachel were in a romantic relationship. And when Skylar witnessed Shelia and Rachel making out on the couch, and they were afraid Skylar was going to tell. Plus, Rachel comes from a strict religious family who do not support the Gay-Straight Alliance. That's why Shelia and Rachel killed Skyler so no one would know their secret. I can tell Rachel has remorse, but Sheila does not I also hope they do not get out of prison until they finish their sentences.

The little girl is a good young actress.

Oh my....the movie was so touching and moving. Children who go through a divorce , most of the time their feelings are not taken into consideration and left with deep scars....at times those wounds so deep taken to their grave. This movie really brought those issues into light and into consideration in the healing process that affects all lives involved. It was so good to see how they were resolved...indeed it was good. I myself coming from divorced family, whose both parents are now in heaven now, was moved to tears recalling painful memories as well as thankful for God's loving healing peace that cradled me to rest in his arms of forgiveness...Amen🙏.

I appreciate that the end result was the courts choosing to not place a child by his skin but by where he would receive the deepest nurturing support! I know I have received a lot of outcasting in my life and I only over came it by my mind and the few who loved me beyond what I offered the world .. then the world saw how great I was .. yes many still treat me according my gender & looks but those who support and honor my place in the world and society are much more important and pave the way. Support and love will get you through everything but someone who looks like you may even be jealous of you I know because my own mother was ( a different type of mother) ..to look like someone doesn’t mean they care even if they have a face that looks closer to yours. The true love will always matter most!

I hate these type of movies where they make it that the "good guys" or at least here the lesser evil of the two by some magical coincidence they end up winning! It's a load of BS! Psychopaths won't leave any chance for them losing, they don't waste time "feeling their feels" if they find themselves in such a situation, he would've unalived her then and there in his house, psychopaths brains aren't built the same as regular everyday joes, he then and there would've already knew how it would end if she stayed alive and then and there she would be no more, let's assume by some miracle she finds her way out and escapes, once his driver drugged her he would've ended her then and there as well before putting her in the trunk and driving to God knows where to do it. I am at that point where i see things from a much darker perspective i am almost convinced these movies are influenced by the psychopaths running this world to make them seem like they will lose dramatically to the "good guys" each time in every movie while in real life, they've been ruling this world since the dawn of time, them being ultimate predators simply is because they leave no chance for themselves to lose, they consider and calculate very carefully and swiftly all the possibilities and outcomes in each and every situation they'll go through where they'll end up winning every single time, and go with that.
