I said that it was a bonded windscreen. The first European bonded windscreen was more than decade later introduced in an Audi.

First generation Riviera is one of GM’s best automotive designs to come out of the Buick division, particularly the 65 ( third and final year of this body style) since it’s the closest to Bill Mitchell’s original design. Happy to say I’m a proud owner of a beautifully restored 1965 Buick Riviera…Riv it up baby ✌🏽

To be honest, I have never been into American cars. But I was amazed how good this Buick was to drive.

From 2027 onwards, driving a combustion engine will no longer be permitted outside of work and delivery journeys. The Federal Transport Tourism Emission Restriction Ordinance TEBBVO was also announced....is intended to remove all combustion engines commercial vehicles, construction machinery, agricultural machinery and even inland waterway vessels from the roads/waterways by 2035. Buses in cities (and all taxis) must be completely converted to electric drive by 2026 (EU regulation!)! That will be funny! Have you ever read Berlin leaks? It takes your shoes off! They're basically planning to demobilize under the guise of a campaign against "fun using fossil drive energy" in road traffic... the SOKO Autoposer is supposed to hunt down all fun fossil drivers in the future! This will be a STVO Stasi with BABVVO monitoring apps as a helper for controlling exhaust gas emissions.

I am so glad that I live outside the EU. The idiocy which is going on especially in.a country like Germany at the moment is frightening. Although I am aware of the fact that there is climate change, I do not believe in the least this theory of CO2 causing this change. If you see the climate changes over the last 10,000 years, than you notice that it was way warmer 1000 and 2000 years ago. If you see the amount if CO2 in the air it is only 0.0375% in relation to 89% N2 or 19% O2 it is hardly nothing. Plants and trees need CO2: 6CO2 + 6H2O --》C6H12O6 + 6O2. So more CO2 will let grow trees more quickly. I have nothing against EV's, but I do not see that they are environmental friendly. And I still remain a petrolhead. A big V8 is way more pleasing than driving any EV.

The handling of the car was excellent. The engine sound was okay, but not overwhelming. It has not loads of power, but on small roads it is a fun car to drive. I had at one point a problem with the gear linkage. That is why I could not really drive the car anymore as I should. Because I still had to drive back to the garage where I borought the car from. Mahalo for this story about...a parallel world...that is Brazil. The story of the creation of Volkswagen do Brasil is fascinating! What beautiful and generous people, too! I really believe Volkswagen do Brasil missed a trick by not building that lovely SP2 for the world market. It was as pretty as the VW-Porsche 914. Maybe Audi could have used it in their lineup or the SP2 could have carried on the legacy of the Karmann Ghia. It was lovely to see what driving through Brazil in like. Aloha from your subscribers here in Hawai'i!

@@DrivingwithGloves I do appear to be one of the few who fell in love with the 914. It was so low to the ground (no trouble for 11-year-old me😆🤣), and it had a mid-mounted engine...like a Lamborghini Miura (😆🤣). The 914 really caught my attention for Porsche. As a child, I never noticed Porsche until the 914 was introduced. Oh...and I like 928, too. That means I'm not a Porsche guy,🤣! I DID get to drive a 924 between Trier and Koblenz one time; I still remember the experience fondly 37 years later.
