Great documentary on a distant, fascinating period. Land, wealth and power, the more time passes, the more things stay the same.

So. Imagine that time before the flood. Imagine the people were spread out all over the world and many began to allow ego to rule and they chose to no longer obey God and had degraded so far beyond evil that God decided to flood the entire earth and start a new. These ruins could very well be the remnants of some of those people. Or perhaps these are whats left after the flood of Noah and his sons and their families after they left the ark. We will never know truly who these people used to be. My personal opinion is that of the former.

The main stream narrative is a joke. The star fort at Fort Union is obviously much older than they tell us. Star forts are found all over the plane(t). The horse and buggy people of the 1800's could barely build a decent wood frame structure. And the Civil War was fought over slavery, the form of slavery in the North, which was by far more brutal and oppresive, prevailed. 150 years later and wage skavery is still alive and well and a widely accepted forn of slavery in all 50 states.

What many people dont know is that oadacer preserved rome, when he entered rome he had such deep respect and fascination for rome he ordered his army to protect all shrines, set night guards, and he let the roman senate pursue it politics untill they planned a revolt again.. it was only after these reigns that rome going into the middle ages was heavily hit in economy reason why is at the invasion of all the tribes multiple recources like mines in spain went out of production rome wasnt able anymore to keep up the trade logistics automatically starting the shrinking of the roman economy 500 years later rome was just a mere shadow of its imerial power and its own civilians starting looting the gold silver and stone statues due to poverty femine etc It was oadacer having respect for the roman empire even accepting and endorsing its gods as if they alsmost wanted to be romans themselves even they realised and knew they where at a very special time and spot and respected there enemies technical achievements.

The Tepe's are more proof that we are RIGHT about many many sites around the world being far older than science is telling us! The Pyramids all over the world, the Peruvian Andes mountain sites, Some of the "Buddhist" temples in India are all far far older than we are led to believe!

Jesus mate, you rabbit on. Takes forever to get to the point. Eg. "...dry, arid..." I mean you're 4 minutes into the video and I still don't know what the bloody focus of the video is! Oh there we go...@ 5mins you finally mention the ruins (though not as simply put (sadly)). Less fluff, more fact.

That phallic male statue near the beginning, 😮anybody else realized it was circumcised? So that kinda shows its older than pottery? 😮😮🤔🤔🤔 I know there's no potsherds but what about soapstone bowls? Native Americans used soapstone bowls first ,how about there? Any soapstone pottery?

Precisely what connotes a civilization. For a long time people living permanently in an area, building things and casting the remains in the heap. A new definition seem to be people living somewhere for some length of time, and casting their remains somewhere along the way. The first was used for a long time because it is much easier to find and then to discern something stylistic within it

Pete, thank you. Great choice of subject matter. More importantly, your skill for putting together these documentaries is absolutely phenomenal, my friend. Your storylines are incredibly well-written. The continuity and smooth flow of your narrative style, coupled with the detail and sheer density of information you deliver places you alongside the likes of Sir Richard Attenborough, George Page, and Ken Burns, as far as I'm concerned. Oh, and great scoring. Do you do all of this on your own? WOW

I don't buy the archaeologists assumptions about everything as "a temple /a tomb / for ritual porpuse". These are simple constructions. Not everything found is about religion... The big t-pillars are ancient, but the stone walls made of some small stones are surely much younger. They are not well done.

The Kievan Rus history is wild! A lot went on here that most folks outside of Russia aren't aware of. I was fortunate to have a history teacher in high school that was fascinated by Kiev and Novgorod. I came across an illustration of Prince Svyatislav that inspired me to learn more about this incredible warrior. Great, informative video!

Ronald Reagan said "If mankind could just realize we all have one thing in common this planet, we would stop fighting each other & work together." Paraphrased We all come from a group of people that worked together at one time. We had to to be able to build what we did create and grow into the great civilizations that once existed. But then I guess they got to a point that they felt they needed what others had. It's always been a competition for land and resources once you got to a certain point. I saw a movie where the losers in a battle said why why We would have given it to you and all the winner said was I just want more and the winner destroyed everything to the point that the winner was going to die because by destroying the people they had invaded There would be no resources for anybody.

This landscape today seems so forbidding. It must have been lush and watery at the time this was built. It’s hard to believe that the vast Sahara desert was also once lush and green and dotted with rivers and lakes. Makes you wonder what’s under all that sand.

If they were honest, the archeologists would reveal that the soil settled around these ancient stone buildings is the same kind of soil we see settled on a lake or ocean bottom. The reason no pottery, bone, plant, wood or fire debris can be found is because of flood waters which covered and destroyed all life in the global deluge recorded in Genesis.

Pete, you are simply put; Brilliant. I don't have an accurate count on how often I've watched your 'sea peoples' documentary, since it's just so much more in depth than anything remotely close, even by official channels. Keep up the good work, and hope you're getting enough to scrape by from patrons, because you do top actual, respected, TV channels like bbc in fact checking and deep dive analysis. Love this video, first real video I've found on youtube on Karahan Tepe. Just... Brilliant. Wish you all the best, regards from Iceland, Addi.
