Are you kidding me? useless for what you showed, i’m sure there is purpose, but you didn’t show it. It’s a brushless is the only option.

A great tool BUT it’s design does not allow the chuck to be removed in the conventional way. The drill must be disassembled and the chuck removed using gargantuan forces etc. I still cannot find a service center to address this issue. I may have to go with another brand, but I’ll check first to see how the chuck removes!

I wouldn’t buy either of these in 2023 unless you absolutely needed it for that day. They’re both old enough to get Gen2 releases. I would like an updated M12 Fuel with pivoting shoe (like the M18 version)

Nice review & presentatoin just one comment. Do not use a router as you where in that demo. Router cutters are made to cut one way only Left to right on edges and internaly right to left or when in a router table right to left on edges due to router been upside down. Routing the way you did will result in kickbacks, burning the timber, burning and blunting the router cutter blade & is extremely dangous. Also you add a bridge foot plate to the router base making bouth your tasks you did accurate. Ive been using routers over 44 years daily in my work as a cabinet maker. Truely amazing machines when using an assortment of router cutters. Just give respect to routers as I know and met many fingerles wood workers in my life due to not understanding safe methods to use any router. Look forward to veiwing your other youtube videos.

The M18 fuel has 7/8" stroke and it has an adjustable pivoting shoe which makes a HUGE difference. I think with a tool like this you might as well get the M18 fuel because it benefits so much from the bigger batteries.

Hi. I have a dcd791 too, new. The reverse/forward button is very loose/sloppy. Did yours have the same issue, or no? Does it matter? How can I repair it? Thanks.

Is this any good for fastening stuff on cars? Like small e torx bolts or the undercarriage bolts? I was looking for a dedicated tool for that. Also for doing stuff around the house like drilling in the wall maybe through stucco.

I wonder if this is sturdy and stable enough for being a host for "reaction" blocks and rods for AR-15 Building. Maybe the jaw horse is a better choice for barrel work but for just installing buffer tubes, I can see this as a cheap and compact option.

Tim from CanadaM 12 version Hackzall not worth the money I have found with this. And in Canada the higher the battery the pricier they are Canada is the most expensive country in the world to buy tools coming from another country.

TIM from Canada my question for Milwaukee when people spend money to buy your tools. Why is it in a kit. You give people a 1.5 battery or 2.0 battery.. let me explain this one. I recently bought M 12 Hackzall it come with a 2.0 battery. This does nothing these batteries are garbage. It seems like in a kit that you buy from any company they give you the creepiest battery in their lineup which is a low in battery. People spend the money to buy your tools in a kit increase your battery sizes this goes for everyone
