Good question! The way I handle it is that I create separate custom links for the products I share most often. It works exactly the same way. For example: For the sidebar plugin I might make the custom link /sidebar-plugin. Or for Will Myer's Webpage Mockup Display I may call it /myers/mockup. Does that make sense?

Sometimes these affiliates are set up so that if someone goes to their website using your affiliate link that it would apply to any products they purchase once there. You'd want to check that first. But I DO set up separate links when I want to highlight a specific product. For example, I created a free mini-course on how I created my portfolio in Squarespace user Will Myer's website mockup plugin, so I've generated a link for that specific product and shared it within the content (in several places) inside my mini-course. Does that make sense?

Good question. I do not use Squarespace email campaigns, I use ConvertKit. Are you trying to prevent people from taking the freebie without confirming their subscription? Try going to Marketing > Email campaigns > Email campaign settings > Verification options > Customize email and link the whitepaper/guide in the context of the email. 🤞

Right? Just like most things, there are always exceptions. If you're designing for clients, they will almost always think they need to have an about page. It can be a slippery slope when you tell them that they shouldn't, lol.

Hi Gaia! 👋 Are you asking how to add categories to your blog or how to choose them? To add categories, you'll go to the settings for the blog post, select Options > Categories, type your category followed by a comma. This creates the category. I show you how to do that at 19:36 in the video. @@kamusafety I see. This may not be a solution for you. Try this: keep using the code in this tutorial, but add another code to reduce the size of this font for mobile only. Here's a code that will accomplish that: /* Change font-size H1 mobile */ @media only screen and (max-width: 640px) { h1 {font-size:2.1rem !important} } Does that make sense? It will change the size of the font site-wide. Play around with the rem # until you get it how you like it. I hope this helps!

Hi Gigi! When you write a post, you need to fix the settings each time. In the 'Options' tab, you will select the category. You can delete or change the category from here too. You can decide whether or not you want your post to be a featured post. If so, you simply toggle on 'featured post.' I hope that answers your question! I'm glad you found the tutorial helpful!

Hi Stephanie! If I'm understanding, you're trying to embed a ConvertKit form onto a page of your SS website. In ConvertKit, open the form you want to embed. Select 'Publish' and copy the code. come back to your SS website and add a code block. Replace the placeholder text with the code you just copied from ConvertKit. Did that work? Or is this causing you trouble?

@@jenxwebdesign Hey Jen - I did that exactly - used the code block copied over what was there and the form doesn't show up on my SS page. I'm on version 7.1 of SS. I've redone the form a couple times on Convertkit, saved it and publish to get new code but nothing is working. I may need to get someone from Squarespace to look at things on my end. Thank. you for responding! I'm a newbie with SS and doing forms so it's taking me a bit to get familiar with things.
