Hey there, I’ve owned the T7Vs for a few months now. Before I had them I was using the Yamaha HS5 monitors. I noticed once I switched over to the adam T7Vs that my mixes were way to loud in the high and low end of my mixes. Now using the T7V I find myself adjusting my mixes a lot, mostly turning down all of my mixes and even when doing that the low end still really punches through. I believe the low end is great on these monitors (T7V) but there might be some added colouring to them. Overall I believe they are great monitors but it might take some getting use to, especially depending on what monitors you are currently using. I hope this helps and best of luck with your music adventure 😀

He'd also might remove that midi keyboard from the top, move them away from each other and from the corner of the room AND keep their amt drivers at ear level and possibly put some acoustic panels in the room. I don't think that matters to him but at least you know whos reviews not to trust.

Hi just a couple questions, what is the difference between this and the 2nd generation if they both sound the same. And im a complete novice, so forgive this seemingly ignorant question, but why are there nobs for adjusting frequencies on the back, I thought monitors just have a flat sound to make the production sound as honest as possible, so the most flat and "boring" sound you should get out of your mix, should be on monitors, cause you know if sounds as flat as possible on your monitors, yet good, then it'll sound even better on every other source. This is just whats confusing me. Thanks for your time
@traincrossing95 жыл бұрын
I think the main difference between the two generations is just a wider frequency response range and general quality improvements. As for the frequency adjustment knobs, those are to adjust frequencies to match the acoustics of the room you are mixing in. If your studio has a lot of sound reflections or bass keeps bouncing around in the corners that lack acoustic treatment, that will affect the sound you hear and in turn how you EQ and mix your tracks.
