Appreciate this may not have been 100% clear in the video, but it was the Chinese border force that refused to grant the visas due to amount of time between our flights. There is a layover tour company who operate specifically for people like us on layovers for 6-7 hours, but on this particular day because of the Lunar New Year celebrations, they did not grant us with the visa we hoped for.
