I just watched a gm of hers and most of her passes r I'll advised bad passes & steals by opponents. Yall making excuses on most of her turnovers Now has some hit hands & were dropped...sure. But most r stolen or flat out bad passes. Yall need to stop this

It really doesn’t matter. Turnovers are turnovers. No one makes excuses for NFL QBs when the ball bounces off their guys’ hands or the receiver fell down. They all count. Plus, you have to know your personnel. Further, Caitlin as a rookie is going to literally obliterate the ALL-TIME turnover number in the WNBA. If she was a man she would be benched. Those full court passes look great but they are risky. Reality check = EVERY COACH would want her to stop or at least pick her spots better. The FACT that she doesn’t stop could mean that she is not coachable. She needs to be taken off the ball. Plus, almost more concerning she has shown an unwillingness to play defense. Historic turnovers and no defense = you suck. She is flashy and entertaining. I’ll give her that. But right now she is playing like she’s on the “And 1” circuit.

Clark is making passes that no one in the WNBA attempted before. The girls will eventually start expecting the ball to be there in situations where they never would have gotten the ball in the past. Maravich had similar problems. It will take a bit longer for them to catch up to Clark as they are still a bit behind athletically. Give it time.
