I also have a similar problem as this as well. But it happens on the "Fully connected" part. I tried everything, i removed the recent addons (Note that i use installers so no addon is updated) and restart my laptop. It used to work fine till about 2 days ago. This is not just a problem on custom maps, even default maps can have this issue. Any help is very appreciated. My laptop is 4gb btw

In my case a similar thing also happens on singleplayer as well. Sometimes when switching between maps, the loading will just freeze on the first bar, and this can happen on any map. The only way to fix this is to restart the entire game and reload the map. This wouldn't be such a big problem at all, if it wasn't for the fact that my laptop is a complete garbage potato that can't even run stuff like Audacity without any freezes.
