Love the OH I part . . . Other parts great. Fantastic ending. Your organ is very similar to YAHAMA HC 4, that I first owned. You may sound better on that.

Fabulous. Just discovered your channel, having also played the Blackpool Tower Wurlitzer like you. Your performance of Cheek to Cheek was really good, loved it. I’ll keep an eye out for more from you Dominic.

Hi I'm steph I play the tyros 5 keyboard. I've been playing keyboard for about 16 years now. I would absolutely love the chance to have a go on the whurlitzur organ in Blackpool tower ballroom I would love the experience as when I had keyboard lessons I learned on a two tier organ found that easy enough. Only problem I have is I cant play any music without a book I suffer with short term memory loss but that doesn't stop me playing my keyboard with music books I still enjoy it as much as anyone else does I'm sure. You are very very good at the organ iv watched this video a few times just fascinating to watch u play looks do effortless. I would love to play songs from Disney films and I absolutely love playing classics like ole to joy and in the hall of the mountain king ( Alton towers theme tune I call it) one day I may get there well hope so anyway.

Very nice! I like your arrangement, but you need to work on the recording part. What did you use to record with?

Thank you David! You're right it does require co-ordination but it comes with practice!

Go Dominic, go! Well done, nice to hear you talk as well ;) Playing an organ should never be underestimated, not that I can play a twin manual properly, but I appreciate that there is a lot of co-ordination.

Great Playing! It must have been a real treat to play at Blackpool! Your family looks like they had a super time! I haven't seen a similar video of anyone else who wasn't a regular organist there, getting a chance to play! You are very lucky!!! Mike B. Staten Island, NY

Patrick, I've just looked at the particular number you suggested - I can't read music so it would take me a while to learn it, and I would have to find a church organ good enough to practice on, but it's something I will definitely look into! Looking at Widor as we speak! Thanks for the suggestion.

I think you should play some french music. You should look into the finale from Symphony No. 1, by Louis Vierne. That would a great piece, for you.

Brilliant, Dominic! It is very nerve wracking when you start playing in the Tower Ballroom, but once you get going, an hour soon passes. I would love to play there again. It really was a dream come true. Like you, I didn't play half of the stuff i had practised. Saving up now for another go. Keep on playing!

Dominic, My name is Dr. Roger Leir and I rreside in Southern California. You have begun to master a complex musical instrument and doing a wonderful job. I am a member of ATOS, and several other Theater Organ Societies. I have played both a three and four manual Wurlitzer as well as the Robert Morton Wonder Organ and a Page. I would like to see you have a professional recording made showing your use of the Expression shoes. Income would be available on KZfaq. [email protected] Roger

It's an organ like no other isn't it! It's a shame you had no other way of keeping record of such a thing! Perhaps you could do it again one day?:) And you make me laugh! You're right, some of the video is not great though! And that would be fantastic, I've never really played the church organ before!

Excellent stuff. I remember playing here about 11 years ago - unfortunately the only recording device I had was a dictaphone from Argos so great you were able to film this. Ignore the dislikes - I always say people who dislike things have personal issues/to much time on their hands! Keep going and if you want to try some church organs just drop us a message!
