We actually had a small box of “fire starter” 2x4 cutoffs from the reconstruction of our Florida house with us. I never thought I would need them for this, though. We have since purchased a set of real jack stands if we need to do this again. Replacing a leaf spring while traveling is not that uncommon. They have a tendency to break but usually in the worst places. We considered ourselves lucky it happened when and where it did. Thanks for commenting !

First comment! 😁 We are so happy that the funding is happening to continue the work on the Crazy Horse monument. We look forward to going back to see their progress. That sky was pretty threatening looking 😲 We had a berry pie from there! Their pies are delicious. I wondered why there was no footage of inside the caves, now I know! - Michelle

The berry pie we should have tried. The museum was very nice. The lightning in the area kept the tours from operating. We have visited here a few times and many years ago when it first started being built. The progress seems slow but it keeps going. Thanks for commenting!!!

How is your fan coming on though? I keep seeing that the fan will only turn on when it’s in the G. I don’t understand I only have two wires and I would need one more for the thing to fully work. Does your thermostat automatically have a fan feature in the board when just one wire is attached to either W or R?
@jamesmcrae9238
@jamesmcrae9238 Ай бұрын
Our fan comes on automatically when the heater comes on. We only had 2 wires for our thermostat-a red and white. There was a place on the thermostat for a power wire but ours never had a third wire or power wire. I am pretty sure you should just connect the red and white wires.

WWII was a total effort by the USA. The first and only time in this country's history that it has happened. Sixteen million Americans served in the military during that time. The threat to the country and the rest of the world was judged to be so severe that some rights and personal freedoms were restricted in order to guarantee the war effort. Protesting against the war, the draft or even rationing was not tolerated, and neither were labor strikes against businesses, industry or utilities. It was "toe the line", cooperate and contribute to the war effort or go to jail.

@@noworriesrving3743 Dad's cousin Sparky was captured by the Germans at the Battle of the Bulge and put into a POW camp. He escaped and citizens on a farm in Belgium found him and turned him over to the Russian Army and that Army got him back to the US Army. I met Sparky and visited twice at the War Museum in Danville, Illinois where after he had re-enlist in the newly formed Air Force after the war. Re was a lifer in the Air Force. What a colorful character he was. Our dad served beginning in New Guinea and up to the Philippines. He said the Filipinos were the best and the Fillipino Gorillas were courage and had great respect for them all.

@@butchs6099 wow..My uncle served in Patton’s 12th Armor division all the way from Africa to the end of the war. He never talked about it but he had horrible nightmares
@butchs6099
@butchs6099 3 ай бұрын
Our dad didn't talk much about it either. He said at least you could tell who the enemy was unlike the many Germans who spoke English. 12:29 He did tell of meeting MacArthur on one of the islands. Dad was a Tech Sargent and trying to get a duece and a half, I think it was, that was stuck in the mud on the main trail from the beach to the camp. MacArthur was to be expected anytime soon on his island hopping campaign (they talked about how the General was always coming from behind the troops). Dad was positioned under the truck removing the broken dropped drive shaft and when he slid out from under, there was MacArthur standing. He had walked up to see what what was holding his escort convoy up and here was Dad, recognizing the General he sprung to his feet holding the driveshaft with both hands, dropped it in the mud to salute and splashed mud all over the Generals trousers. MacArthur told him, quite alright soldier carry on. Dad loved the service and would have stayed in but wanted to get home for he had never seen his son, my older brother Lee of 12 years, whom was born after Dad left for overseas. Your uncles nightmares, was he scared of the Germans or more scared of General Patton? Ha! I admired Patton. We need more like him.

It wasn't the fridge vent. We fixed it and still had a leak. On the downspout track, to see the screws, you gotta pull off the rubber trim. Near where the front and back track connect, there was a screw missing. Right in that spot. We added a screw, caulked, and are now hoping for the best. We still have to replace the whole wall!

I tried the LED bulbs in our '21 Apex (same model) but got intermittent tail light out codes on the '21 Tahoe Trailering Info screen. This product looks like a much better option, thanks. Last thing to do now that the bearings are packed, pads and drums scuffed and cleaned, replaced furnace sail switch, a few new shelves and drawer made and installed, and a new knee installed on me. New Bilstein 5100 rear shocks put in the Tahoe set to .6 and now tows level with a Weigh Safe Standard hitch. Ready for trip planning! If you can figure out a rear observation camera installation I love to copy that process. Safe travels!
