I think you're not giving Jameson enough credit. From everything I've seen and heard coming out of OTA's and mini camp, it sounds like he's primed for a breakout season. I've heard that his first 2 seasons he was more of a I'll fo what I want kind of player, but this off-season something clicked and now will be a more team oriented player.
@StraightAMain6 күн бұрын
Maybe so, I like Jameson, I think he’s a good talent. OTA’s and Minicamps are hard to get a good gauge of the players coming out of there. This is mostly because the information is very cherry picked or controlled where we don’t get the full picture. He could be a great talent, but especially with Amon-Ra, LaPorta, and the RBs, it’s going to be tough for him to break through. It would be cool to see though!

Completely fair point. I kind of elevate the offense with LaPorta, Amon-Ra, and then throwing in Gibbs with reliable backups. The point is, the team is so good now that the team’s “weakest link” is at worst slightly above average!

I think it's definitely possible. If the Broncos are struggling big time at that point in the season, Sutton will likely not be happy. This is the first video of yours I've ever seen & as a former coach, trainer etc. I have to ask wtf are you _doing?_ You're flailing like someone in an ad for that data service who's trapped in the ball pit they turn their cubicle into. If you're trying to figure out the '24 Panthers by referring to D.J. Moore & CMC having played there you Have A Problem. If you don't have a clue what the new rookies or coaches bring, why would I or anyone else watch this? Sorry to be so harsh, but really, what would Anyone Learn from listening to this? I honestly have nothing else to say.
@StraightAMain12 күн бұрын
Hey! I appreciate your comment and sharing your feedback with me. I’m sorry you didn’t enjoy or get anything out of the video. That’s not my aim at all. I am still constantly learning the best way to make content and how to approach videos like this. Is this the best way to approach this? Maybe not, but that’s why I do it, so I can learn how to be better with my schedule I have. I do it this way because more times than not, team outcomes follow trends and context. I provided the last 4 years, the talent currently rostered, and I make predictions and give information based on that information. If you notice when I talk about this current team, it’s not with the expectations of CMC or Moore, it’s noting past strategies and what this team might accomplish. If I expected the team to operate like it did with CMC, my prediction would be different. I do try to balance Entertainment and Information, and as a result, sometimes I lack enough of either. So I really appreciate comments like this so I can improve. Though I will say, I am still proud of this content and what it provides because it’s transparent and based on data instead of solely gut feeling. Most predictions I see don’t take into account what stats actually happen in the league and gives everyone a realistic across the board perspective. I hope this helps enlighten you as much as your comment helps me.
@StraightAMain12 күн бұрын
You might enjoy some of the other teams in the series because it does focus on teams who haven’t really changed as much. Though you might not want to watch the bears one!

@@StraightAMain Glad you took it as it was meant. I ask content creators to put themselves in the place of the listener (since there is basically no real video we need to look at here). I'm the angry audience wondering "why tf is he rambling about..." So I'll check out other vids. If there are differences I'll mention 'em.
@StraightAMain12 күн бұрын
Of course, any feedback is welcome. Though the phrase “no real video” is quite untrue given the historical data and facts behind it. Also I have to ask, if it was just my predictions, would that make it a video? Because that is what a lot of other content creators do, but I don’t see that being inherently good content. I at least wanted to be different and provide historical data based on previous season stats. But maybe that’s because the video content needs different format, what would you recommend?
@ChewsCarefully12 күн бұрын
@@StraightAMain Damn. I shouldn't write when I'm tired. I just didn't feel that running through the stats was any use outside of context. I'll give you an extreme example. some guy took the time to isolate what two QBs do, footwork, looking off defenders etc. _before_ either play-calling or lack of on-field talent destroy a play. As most people thought in the preseason, Bryce Young & C.J. Stroud may as well be clones of each other. If you blurred their figures so you couldn't see their uniforms, you wouldn't know which you were looking at. So the stats you showed are bereft of any such context. Again, this added to the feeling that you don't _really have_ a sense of what you're covering. You have the basic idea of what you *want* to cover. but the _way_ you;'re doing it doesn't seem to accomplish it. It also feels like reading a list. If you _don't know_ if the lack of on-field talent was a factor, then why even bring the stats up? You see? you Brought The Stats Up, then even you yourself questioned if they meant anything. That added to the feeling of you flailing. Yeah, it was there, we had to read it. But again, No Context & you yourself didn't give the feeling you knew what those stats meant.
@luggbear648414 күн бұрын
Predicting an injury is kinda ridiculous. You should be predicting on how Watson does as if he plays every game. Clearly bias.
@StraightAMain14 күн бұрын
Appreciate the comment. It’s important to note that I did not predict him to get injured. I noted he was injury prone now, but I do think that his poor play will be the result of him not playing the full season. Of the 32 passing leaders, 12 of them end being less than 3,000 yards, and I genuinely think Deshaun Watson is one of those players next season. I probably did rate his passing TDs low, which I noted, but those are hard to predict anyway. Injuries suck and can’t be predicted, but noting a player’s recent injury history can play a factor in stat predicting as well. I want the browns to do well and I think they will, so I don’t really have a bias for this team.

I respect the thought, they are certainly a team that could get to the 10 mark. I just see them landing right at 9 at the moment. Still lots of adjustments and not the easiest set of games. It does get exponentially harder to get to 10+, most teams don't get there, the top 8 teams in the league (essentially) get there. So I made cuts where I thought was right.

@StraightAMain25 күн бұрын
Completely fair! I think he's going to do awesome in Baltimore with efficiency. I just think between the depth and variety at running back, Lamar's ability, and Harbaugh's great coaching scheme that Henry's role will be about efficiency more than yards if that makes sense? I love the look of the Ravens next year, I think the (mostly) healthy season last year showed lots of potential, now it's about staying consistent and keeping the momentum!
@mydogisdiesel25 күн бұрын
@StraightAMain for sure I definitely agree especially once Keaton Mitchell returns. Just saying as far as them scheming against the king that they've never had to scheme against anything other than him really while he was with tennessee but now that's an entirely different matter all together and I think his yards might surprise everyone because it will be the first time in his career that they aren't throwing everything they can against him. I'm actually picking him to get around 1800 yards this season and as someone who's been a ravens fan since the beginning of the franchise I couldn't be happier

Respect the opinion. The quality of the players they got doesn't seem impressive (but getting O-Lineman never feels like it in fairness). The Packers did fine without Bahktiari. I won't argue with Lions at 1 instead of the Bills. I just sympathize with the state of the Bills franchise more after 4 straight Super Bowl losses and always coming short to Patty Mahomes.
