We all know the players make gobs of $$. I've always been curious how much the equipment crew makes? Their job looks anything but glamorous. I hope they get a commensurate piece of the pie.

Why would you fly from Philadelphia to Newark, the take a bus from Newark to Manhattan? You could just simply take a bus from Philadelphia to Manhattan and avoid having to transfer from plane to bus.

Let me tell you a story everyone. I have been a true victim of knee dislocations. It all started in recess in 5th grade. I was play football with my friends and I just remembered one minute I was standing straight up, tall and proud gonna catch a football. Then the next, I fell on the ground. By far the worst pain I have ever experienced in my life. I was rushed to the hospital to get myself fixed up. My knee was out for almost 2 and a half hours since I had to take a ferry to get to the hospital. I thought that was it. But no, it wasn’t. A month or two later. I was doing a service project for my Boy Scout troop. We were preparing to head out to do it. But me and my friends decided to be annoying. We took some pine cones and threw it at the older scouts. They started to chase us. We ran all the way to other side of camp then it happened again. My knee went out. Unlike the last one, no1 was around to help me. It took about 5 minutes to actually get some help. However, it was at this very day I would learn something that would be of use to me for years to come. When the adult came to assist me, I was terrified. My first experience already traumatized me. With this second one, I were to be scared to do anything physical. So what happened was, the way my leg was positioned, made it so it was slowly straighting out. And before I knew it, it went back in. I have never been able to live down these moments. From taking physical therapy, to seeing doctors, to even be offered surgery, it’s hard to see past these things. But I did learn something. If a knee is dislocated and you straighten the leg the knee is dislocated on, it will always go back in. No matter what. I stopped counting how many times I have dislocated my knee after 25 (I am not joking). And still to this day, I fear I will experience that pain again. As a basketball player and formal water polo player, I know what pain is but dislocated knees truly takes the cake of being the most painful injury of them all.

Damn, how old are you and do you still play basketball or you had to quit sports after all that?
@bazzvid64 Жыл бұрын
That sounds terrible, if you let it heal fully the initial time it shouldn’t slide out very often, but the more it happens the worse it gets, so that’s probably why it happens so often now

Coach Snyder, you talk to much. If more coaches were like Phil Jackson, or Coach Pop in San Antonio, who, (on more that one occasion), both famously told their players during timeouts, "y'all screwed it up, so y'all figure it out" perhaps there'd be more champions in the league. I mean u talk to the guys at practice (when u can practice), walkthroughs, before the game, during the game at timeouts, half time, after the game, it's info overload. I know they're pros, but my goodness, guys will tune u out sooner or later. If they haven't learned at a certain point, and you have to do the "college coach" thing by standing, screaming and pointing from the sideline during the game, what does that say about your preparation if they haven't learned it at some point? (And yes I know this was 5 years ago, but you're still coaching).

1st T was easy. The 2nd he must have said some magic words. You notice he didn’t argue the call? Nor did the coach. Must have been a good call.

Im not sure that's the case. I think they just realized that another T and ejection might be initiated for saying more stuff. Ref's are very sensitive creatures, easily spooked into throwing T's.

Yeah, so I went to a NBA game to watch thin skinned officials make terrible decisions. Booker spiked the ball off the floor and it simply got away from him. Imagine if the ref had gone over to the player, closed the gap and had a quick chat? About how it's probably a good thing he's not a point guard? The player would have laughed, acknowledged, yeah, perhaps apologized - in the meantime, the ball has been retrieved and ready to play, It was stopped clock after the miss and out of bounds. See how easy that was?
