Nothing has happened to wigan athletic we are alive and kicking like the phoenix we have rose from the ashes and will continue to prosper and we will return to the top flight in the very near future

Gerrard is the one for me. I'll sum it up this way: Gerrard was the one leading his team to trophies, whilst Lampard was in a team that won trophies. Lampard was never really the best player in the side. Gerrard was just so versatile. Lampard did have an incredible eye for goal though. But Scholes over either of them.

The fact the board refused to give us financial backing for champions League football is actually insane. Like, genuinely I think our current situation would be so different if big sam got the backing he needed

So EFL this time decided to put the points deduction at the start of the season, if they did that last time like we appealed, NLF wouldn’t have got their bet because we wouldn’t have gotten relegated. EFL are corrupt scum.

Uncle Mike seems to have a genuine interest in his town. He seems to be approaching ownership of both clubs slightly differently with regards to players, but you can see there is much needed investment gradually arriving. The stadium has had some work done on the concourses. There are new murals on the stadium celebrating both clubs, and although it doesn't look perfect, there are sponsorships arriving on the stadium walls to try and ensure that cash flow isn't an issue. There seems to be a road map now for Latics with emphasis on young talent coming through the system and not spending extortionate amounts of money on older players on a hefty wage bill. Given time, Latics will grow again. I hope we can be a good example of ownership soon.

This all sounds familier. Dodgy Chinese billionaire lumbering debt on the club. We are in real desperate straits at Reading. Even though the club is up for sale, we dont know who will buy, and potential buyers are being put off by the owner. He has stopped funding and staff dont know know if they are getting paid. Sponsors are paying the bills and HMRC are knocking at the door.

Although I'm no fan of Guochuan Lai, the real villain is JEREMY PEACE. It was his pure unadulterated greed that has caused West Brom's current predicament. Gullible Guochuan Lai just happened to come along and fall into the clutches of that vulture Jeremy Peace. Peace sold the club for an overinflated price along with his own debts to a naïve Lai, who was way too eager to jump on the bandwagon of owning a Premier League club and to be associated with all the glory and trappings that come with it. Guochuan Lai, the world's poorest 'billionaire', has been a disaster, however, the source of this catastrophe lies at the door of Jeremy Peace, and whoever takes over the club should slap a lifetime ban on supposed WBA fan Peace to ensure that he's never allowed to enter The Hawthorns again.

Lai wont sell while theres the slightest chance of that pot of gold, the PL next year. That would allow him to recoup more on selling. If they dont get up he will asset strip and strip the carcass of the club before relinquishing control. This is an horrific prospect for the club, who will be punished by the league and probably end up in league 1, and in administration. Theres about a 1/6 chance of promotion at best so its a £30M bet to hope to win the pot.
