@@user-gv8vv7ko2g I follow the directions in the ball canning book! So for green beans it’s 25 min I believe. But I always follow recipes and directions in the ball book!

Thank you for your post. Does this canner tell you how much pressure it is canning with? I like the fact that it is electric and you can walk away from it. Don’t like the computer control of it. If I do get one, I’ll make sure to use a surge protector for it.

Shouldn't you raw pack (cold pack) in a cold canner with cold jars? That's what I do with my Presto Electric Pressure Canner

Thank you for sharing your video. We also own the same digital canner and will probably get a 2nd Presto digital so that we can can more at the same time. However, according to the instructions, you should have the "regulator" removed before warming your jars, and the canner will beep to let you know when to put the regulator on❤️

I'm going to be canning potatoes today, in my electric canner. However, you didn't cook your potatoes so they are cold, right? You didn't have any problem with cold potatoes in a hot jar?

Correct. I did not cook the potatoes. I raw pack them! I didn’t have any issues with hot jars and room temp potatoes!

We’ve had potatoes for dinner almost every night since harvesting and tonight I boiled the small ones. Then topped with butter and salt and it was DELICIOUS!! Home grown potatoes are so good!! Thanks for watching 🩷
