At this time of the video I was a size 34x30 length (39in waist), but I went down to a 32x30 (35in waist) that you'll see in a later video with a similar topic (titled "Why I Wear Old Man Pants") I'm 5'11" for reference and my legs are short, so my inseam length is preferably 28.5-29 inches with a rise of 11-12in inches (so the outer leg is usually around 40-41 inches). And for my taste, I have a leg opening of around 7 inches. Hope this helps, boss! Let me know if you have any more questions

Another thing that is unfortunate… most men don’t care about style. Because they equate ring fashionable to being gay…. Or feminine…. Stupid I know. Especially when the things they do praise is generally not great for society. Create videos explaining fashion history for men and WHY IT IS IMPORTANT. Perhaps someday men will look less boring and like an eternal 13 year old. Keep going friend.

The issue happened towards the end of the 20th century. Companies saw that the people were so easily to manipulate. Pay the people less, so they can’t afford quality goods, which means they have to shop for whatever is cheaper which is generally less quality. It’s a toxic cycle because the sooner something rips or breaks then the sooner the people have to replace it. You make beautiful quality goods “built to last” (a motto in the old days) even if they are more expensive, then the companies won’t make money because those pants, or whatever goods you bought will last years and years. So today, quality is something almost unrecognizable to people. People don’t even care… which is what the companies want because they can keep producing cheap crap and even lie and screw the people by saying it’s actual quality goods they are purchasing when in reality…. It isn’t. So that’s the problem. In the old days people know the difference between quality. There was pride in the work and craftsmanship that most business had. You notice that even cheaper things in the 60s and before that are better made and more beautiful. Today even houses look like they’re made of cardboard. Just think… even a thousand years ago people built clothing that has survived this long, building and bridges that have withstood centuries… our stuff today… lucky if it’ll last 50 years. And the worst part is the people are so distracted with social media goons that everyone is indifferent… until it bites us in the ass… which I’m sure will happen sooner rather than later… we are already seeing the consequences now.

I'm not someone who wears fancy clothes or things like slacks and blazers and such, but I've noticed the same decline in workwear. Finding durable clothes isn't that hard, but I've found what is hard is finding stuff that is both durable and also fits the way you want. basic dickies polycotton slacks will survive the apocalypse but I hate the way the pockets are haha.

This is great! Now how do you get the curls on the bottom to stretch more into a wave? 🤔 (Btw I’m a girl, have longer hair, similar type curl and density to your hair, and trying to find non- heat/chemical treatment ways to relax all curls into more of a wave while growing my hair out- its shoulder length at the moment). Hexagonal layered cut, love it! 😊

I would 100% purchase your jewelry once it (hopefully) becomes a business. It's hard to find good, unique, classic jewelry. And I appreciate a human touch over some factory-made, mass-produced clones. However, no matter what, don't do anything that kills the relaxation and enjoyment form making jewelry, as that's worth more than any price.

I’m an old man. I’m 74 and I wear high rise and pleated pants. I’m slim and I can wear those slim/skinny styles but I look like a jerk in them. My full cut pants look so much better on me. And personally, I don’t give a shit what anyone might think about how I look. I look good to me and that’s all that counts.

I've been checking on this channel on and off over the last couple of years on the off chance that you'd be back so it's great too see another video on the channel even if it isn't necessarily the outcome I would have liked. In the menswear space you are truly up there with the best of them, you have a unique style and the way that you present your videos are fantastic. So while you will definitely be missed (though I am now going to have to rewatch through your older videos), I'm sure there are bright things in your future. The algorithm has sadly taken another victim, but by god you gave it a red hot crack.

That was useful - I'm not fond of cotton as a trousering material, because it will lose its shape. Trousers made the old-fashioned way, to fit my old-fashioned body, are hard to find unless you're prepared to spend your entire monthly income on one pair - but then: if they'll last me for the rest of my life, it still has to be a bargain. I'll add this company to my list of places to go in my endless search for the perfect trouser.

True words...I would reconsider purchasing this as I briefly covered in my latest video. The buckle came off and the threads and fabric are coming apart at the waistband (at the 7:23 minute mark). It seems like a lot of these even expensive so-called well made trousers are made like junk. We're in the dark ages of menswear to be sure

Don't know if it's been mentioned yet, but as a 3b curly girl, I've learned that a cotton Tshirt is much better to use versus a bath towel, which can easily cause frizz. And keep it almost soaking until you begin styling/drying. Takes longer, but the smoother curls are worth it.

I have followed him off and on for a number of years. One thing I would love to see him wear is a bow tie (this is my preferred style of tie) and should he be daring enough to try it in daytime, a tuxedo. From my own fashion meandering, I do wear tuxedos (all custom made) and yes it can throw people off their own senses of fashion. But I believe that a man should wear his best whenever he dresses up and in my case that’s a tux. So if I see him attempt it, I will know he’s been reading all the comments left by all the viewers.

As an old man, I will not buy a suit on a pair of dress pants that do not have pleats. That stuff that have dominated the past 2 decades force the opinion that clothies have run out of material & are trying to use their supplies to produce as much product as they can to increase profits! Thus skimping on materials to produce pencil suits. Shorter jackets & way too tight pants. As you can imagine, I haven't purchased a suit or dress pants in those 20 years.
