One of the best days of my life driving the loop. Note… roads now paved. Not gravel. Also I got stopped by police at checkpoint. I had a 1949 not 1968 driving permit. Policeman didn’t spot difference and waved me through. Otherwise a 1.5m dong ($60 fine) not £200 as you mentioned in video.

I think this is something creatives experience more than most. I find myself getting slower every winter in terms of action, yet at the same time my introspection comes alive and I produce my best work shortly after trusting in this slower period. Honestly this video was amazing and I loved the simplicity of it. Bravo Luke, keep it up brother.

Ive wanted to do this trip for years - I first visted Vietnam 12 years ago, I've been three times since and never had a chance to do the ha giang loop because my wife is deathly scared of riding motorbikes. I'm coming by myself in March and have been watching every video I can find. Your enthusiasm and love for the country shows through so much in these videos and its got me SO excited, thanks for the great content!

I think it's always worth carrying some sort of lightweight coat in SEA but you should be OK without :)

I think it depends on the photographers style, I've personally noticed my work has drifted away from vertical and more into landscape nowadays.

Could you use the PD clip on your belt? Or would that interfere with the sling action? Seriously considering this bag but my main reason for using the PD clip is to take weight off my back to put it on my hip. The PD sling unsurprisingly has a strat for attaching the clip 🙂 Great and very heelpful video!

I have my eye on the Sedona Orange. I do music photographer and wear stage blacks but as most gigs finish late in the night this colour would be great safety in more ways than you mentioned ;o)

Yeah all the drone shots I captured were done during the tour. I did find I had to be quite quick getting them at viewpoints and a couple times I even went off on my own because I wanted a shot we had driven past just before stopping but thats the nature of a group tour really!

love the video bro keep it up with the videos 👍 I realized a way to get unstuck is to go do something other than the normal routine, most of the time it's nature, sports, or helping other people are what gets you out of the feeling stuck mental hurdle.
