5:51 i raised by ar from 60% to 90% to see what would happen. Absolutely nothing. Actually making a little less. And another thing i noticed is that if you decline once it drops your rating 1% and it takes about accepting 10 just to raise it up that 1% you lost, ridiculous. Ive talked to a few dashers in my area and in the past 2 weeks we have started receiving lower offers for all the restaurants. Not sure whats going on there. It sucks to have to accept a $6 oder for 6 miles and 3 of those miles are down a muddy dirt road.

I had asked this on the previous post, but I was going to ask again. Have been declining orders now because they just don’t meet my needs so is that going to hurt me because my acceptance rate is going to go down currently I have been in the high 90s excepting everything but it’s just not worth it out here doing this, I’m just gonna get crap orders. I seen people that said you can go down to 3% and still be able to get orders but is that correct today in July 2024?

Forgive me, someone may have already asked this question but my question is this I live in a small town in South Carolina called Greenville South Carolina. Normally, I take most all orders that come my way even the crappy ones I would really like to just decline them and wait for better orderswhere I get at least a dollar a mile but I’m shooting for two dollars a mile. From what you’re saying is it now going to hurt me when my acceptance rate goes down? Please respond to this because this is way that I am supplementing income.

Tried this today. They said they can’t remove or adjust any ratings. First agent told me that it would be removed, and that he would send me an email confirmation when the chat ended. Never did. Second agent told me that low ratings can’t be removed. Shortly after, he sends me this bullcrap: “Our support team doesn't have the ability to adjust or change the ratings that customers give us. Ratings are based on the feedback customers provide after a ride or delivery, and they're meant to reflect their personal experiences. This means even if we receive feedback that seems unfair or inaccurate, support can't alter those ratings. Our focus should be on providing excellent service and ensuring a positive experience for every customer, knowing that the ratings themselves are beyond our direct control.” Then ends the chat abruptly without notice. So there goes that.

Here's a tip to spread around. If someone can't tip at least 5 dollars then don't order from DoorDash.

Nice video bro. I like your content! I dash a bit up in Nor Cal. For those of yall in Ca also, here is a tip. STAY BUSY. You want that active time as close to 1 hr per hr as possible. We're getting paid +20% of local minimum + (I think) its $.34/mile. If both orders you get (say you get 2/hr) both tip $2-5 each you will make close to $30+/hr. When you sign on, take the first 3 offers, no matter how shitty they are. This tells the AI model you want to work. On the 4th order, if it sucks, go ahead and decline. NOW, if your CR is 98-99%, you can accept the offer, then just unassign it, telling it Pay too low (or whatever it is, BDA mentioned it). Your CR will drop, so be cautious with this. I've noticed a slow down of offers when my CR gets to around 96-95%. Keep it around 98-99%. On the 5th order, if you declined the last one, take this 5th one, whatever it is. Sometimes thats just the luck drawn. I guarantee you, if you havent seen a legit banger as that 4th or 5th order, that 6th one (if you are still in a prime order time) will be very nice. UDM explained how you need to "negotiate with the AI" and he's right. You hook it up, and it will hook you up..... averaged out on your block (see below), if the offers exist. Also, schedule shorter blocks, not just from 10-10. I feel that DD throttles your pay. If you just busted out a 30 minute, $30 dollar banger, don't expect another order for that hour. It will average your pay out to $hrpay,$DasherArea,$DasherScore across your scheduled block. You schedule out in 2 hour blocks, that variable $hrpay seems to reset after each second hour. Cant remember what gigtuber gave me this idea or he mentioned it in a video.... I think it may have been UDM (I like alot of his points on gaming the Algo), but try scheduling your blocks in 1 1/2 hr increments. I'm not a developer, but I do work in IT full time (Im a security sys admin) but I also do run the tech behind out call center and have coded quite a bit of custom stuff to route specific calls to specific agents. So I have some insight on this algorithm. You'd noticed the variable $DasherScore. There is also a variable $OrderScore. They may not be called that, but this is what I use to route those specific calls to specific agents. The "call" gets a "score" based off many variables like incoming phone number, if record found in CMS, how much spend in the past 6 months, all kinds of shit. The agents get scores on skills, ACD, handle time, and many other metrics. Point is, DD uses metrics like $DistanceToStore, $OrderValue, $StoreScore, who knows what else to score orders, then uses your Dasher metrics to score you, among others not mentioned, probably variables like $DistanceToStore, $avgArivalTime, and probably a slew of other proprietary data it has collected from us. ALL of that shit is being used to train the Algo. I'm almost certain DD utilizes these. BDA commented that if you are a lower tier driver, you get lower tier orders... more consistently, with some teasers thrown in in hopes to get you to accept more. Ive noticed this. Prior, my AR would hover around 50% but with all other metrics maxed out (or almost), so TD stats minus the AR. I got alot of low tier, some decent, orders that were to lower tier restaurants, customers, areas etc, out of zone, etc. As that crept up and over 70% that got better, more consistent "convienence offers" as BDA referred to them as. This got AR up to over 80% and then the higher paying S&Ds and Liquor orders came in.... Got over 90% and bang, LOPs. Some would be from restaurants miles away (with probably 20+ dashers between me and the store). Higher the $orderscore, will go to higher the $DasherScore dashers. If the highest is unavailable, it tries the next driver below, and so on. There were many months in a row, I never saw a shitty offer, like literally never. I had to take like a 2 week break from DD, etc when I had to fly out of state for a tech conference. When I came back, I had to train the AI all over again. I lost my priority to HP S&Ds. THAT HURT. Then came in some negligible offers... I decline as well, I took a GH offer cause its slow.... now my AR is around 76%, CR is at 95%, CR is 4.98 and well, its a slow time, so the offers are trickling in..... its not been good last few weekends with DD (GH has come through though). Sorry that was a long read. I didnt mean to go down the $explainDDAlgo path. hahaha. Again, this is all a wild guess based off my 15+ years of working in and managing tech in a contact center. Hope it may give some insight to yall. You gotta play the Algo. Its Gamified for a reason.

My Accept Rate is-->99 My Complete Rate is-->100 My customer Rate is-->4.9 I still get $3-9 tips even with my Platinum if you declined to many & your accept Rate gets under 70% & Your completion rate gets under %95 you'll lose ur platinum. depending on the day sometimes I'll get consistent decent $7-12 tips at best threw out the day. And you can Dash 24/7 with Platinum unlike Gold or Silver. And i haven't purchased the Giant bag for platinum yet supposedly you'll get even bigger tips so they say

I called and got one removed last week. Customer gave me a 1 star 7 DAYS after delivery. They manually removed it immediately as it was clearly unjustified.

I don't think negative ratings make you get worse orders. I have 4.99 cr, 100 ar, 100 cr, and 96 on time delivery percentage and I only make $12 to $15/hrs. When I have had a 4.91 cr, contract violations, one and two star ratings, and a thumbs down I still only make around $12/hrs. 😂

i got a 1star for not delivering to the apartment number and leaving the food at building entrance since customer not responding and i cant get in. immediately called doordash and they removed that bs 1 star rating. my stats are high 87 ar , 100%completion rating, 4.9 Customer rating.

Dude. This whole silver gold plat ranking system messed me up too. 4th of july was not a good night to dash. The last 3 orders I accepted and arrived at had between 15 to 20 cars lined up around the building. So I did what any other sane dasher would do and cancelled. Little did I know DD made it to where you cant cancel 3 or more or they drop your rank. So now I cant dash whenever until I get my completion rate up to 97 and there are hardly any times to schedule ahead in my area 🤣 DD just broke what didnt need to be fixed lol Totally looking forward to these dank money making tips bro! 🙏

Some rental EBikes here have no pedals on them. However they top out at 15mph or less. This is exactly why I use cheap pedal bike frames for EBikes and always install pedal assist. The Cops were definitely abusing their power. Definitely better stuff for them to be doing.

i respect this, i agree gig work should be anytime i want to go anytime i want to stop and i shouldnt be punish for not taking a order that effect me in a neg way, someone else might be closer and able to take that order I would decline. But hey they will change policy back to the way it was as more people leave.

My job is not to make money. I do my job because I do I enjoy. People need to have a different mindset. I enjoy food delivery, and delivering food for people. If you don’t enjoy it all you’re gonna focus on is making money. Yeah I know you’re gonna tell me. I’m a fool for saying that but I’m telling you. Out of all the corporate jobs I worked for I wasn’t happy. I’m at heart a person who loves driving and traveling. That’s what I enjoy doing.
