I asked this question while back, but I will ask again. Its about the soccer balls used in your games. Do you remember if this was a rubber composite soccer ball? This might sound a bit crazy, but I'd offer to buy this one soccer ball for roughly $175, if anyone still has it. I don't care how beat up it is or if its flat. I collect these old rubber composite soccer balls that were used in soccer games of this time period.
@waterford674 жыл бұрын
Jerry Gibert sorry, don’t have any of the balls.
@jerrygibert48284 жыл бұрын
@@waterford67 Thanks. I figured, I'd give it a shot, and ask. Its hard to tell, but the ball does look like it might have been of a rubber composite ( not stitched or glued ). If you happen to come across any old rubber soccer balls from the 1970's in near future, you know were to find me. My offer will hold indefinitely. May I ask, and I hope I'm not impeding to much, were you on this team or were you the coach? Kind regards...
@waterford674 жыл бұрын
Jerry Gibert I’ll keep that in mind. I was a player, blue jersey red sweat pants no. 11 . My dad filmed it on 8mm but didn’t realize he had the camera on fast motion LOL. I believe we did use rubber composite Mitre balls.

@chloecastleton61135 жыл бұрын
@waterford67, Questions. Did you play on this team? My husband collects old soccer balls from the 1970's, and wanted to know if the soccer balls used by this team are still around? If so, he would like to talk with you () or anyone who played or was in charge of the equipment back then (). If the soccer balls are the type he's looking for, they would be worth anywhere from $150 to $400, depending how used up they are. The more they were used, the more he's willing to pay for one ( and they do not need to hold air ). Message me anytime, so we can talk. This is no hoax, he is very serious.

Great choice of music for this footage. Can ask a very interesting question, and hopefully, get a reply beck. You played soccer in 1977, right? Do you still have any soccer balls, that were used in any of your games from the 1970's? Do you know anyone that still might have old soccer balls?
@susanryan43477 жыл бұрын
Gosh, I have got to see that first movie, it must be Captives. I like tough guys in films. James Cagney was great. But Tim was too adorable in Reservoir Dogs.

I'm curious as to who the scrabblers were playing that day. Was it the Annandale Shooting Stars or Braddock Road Cougars? The VYSA girls soccer teams were quite good from 76 to 81. Waterford67, do you have more footage you could generously upload, that your father took? These are timeless time capsules, no doubt.

Extremely well done video. This is one of my favorite Thompson Twins songs and this is an excellent, professionally-done video (e.g., more professional than Flock of Seagulls!) that really enhances the song. Thank you.

I come back to this video all the time, it's so cool. I love the way it's edited, very non-intrusive and subtle. Once in a while the video rolls, which adds to it if you ask me. For years I never even realized this song was about that particular Judy.

I love dark comedy, this was really great! I agree you with too, the 3rd and 4th rooms were my favourites. The 1st was alright, the 2nd was funny. But definately the last two were the best :)

@SutherBale Four Rooms is crazy awesome. It's not for everyone because the humor is a bit dark at times. I liked The Misbehavers (Room 409) and The Penthouse stories the best. I wont give any of it away. Tim Roth is brilliant in everything he does, love him.
