As a hockey goalie, some of these goalie interferences are kind of reasonable, but for some reason refs never call goalie interference on the other team, even when you get shoved out of the net, no call, when your player accidentally taps the goalie’s glove when they have the puck covered, penalty.

the high sticking ones are INCREDIBLY tough, i dont blame the refs at all. 98% of the time, when a player does that snapback, its cuz they DO get hit in the face. And considering the speed/distance the refs are from the play (they dont get zoomed in/slowed replay), they almost have to call it. Because if they dont call it, its even worse, so taking that 98% chance you are correct is a must. It just means 2% of the time you are wrong unfortunately. Thankfully hockey players arent soccer or basketball players who like to embellish all the time, so the refs can make these assumptions. Unfortunately im worried more hockey players will start doing this more frequently to get calls, which is smart, but ruins the integrity of the game
